Hello, I'm in the final stage of my Banshee rebuild & ran into a big issue. (see pics). The tops of my 33 PWK's are hitting my T5 pipe clamps. If I spin the carb, it fits, but that can't be right. I have a Boss Intake as well. Has anyone had this issue before? Thanks in advance.

Speaking of cylinders, there is a piece of rubber on the bottom of the jug that mates to the case. Can you remove this or is it safe to powder coat with this in place? Any problems with the powder coat from heat when you are riding?

I'm not sure why these arms could not be done. Teflon is widely known for it's temperature resistance. It has an workable operating temp of -400 deg F to 500 deg F. (go to http://www.mcmaster.com/ & type in teflon). According to this site http://www.lenntech.com/teflon.htm the melting point of Teflon is 327 deg C (620 deg F). Dupont, the makers of Teflon claim their the lowest melting point more any type of Teflon is 500 deg F. http://www2.dupont.com/Teflon_Industrial/e...fo_compare.html Powder coated parts are cured at 375-400 deg F. If parts are being ruined, I wonder if it is actually Teflon inside the ball joints and not some other cheap plastic. I would also be curious of the grease inside the joint. What about the rubber the ball joint boot is made from? What type of rubber is this? Just like nitro above, I'm not trying to be a smart ass. I really want to have my a-arms done as well & so far don't see a huge reason as to why not. But people on here have got their arms ruined by this & the reason doesn't seem totally clear.

Has anyone powdercoated thier front master cylinder? Mine is chipped pretty bad, I'd like to re-coat it. I was wondering what to do about the glass/plastic window & the rubber one-way valve inside the part. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

What colors did you end up with? I have the same year & color banshee as you. I've got it stripped to the frame & am getting everything powder coated flat black. And I mean everything, if it's metal it will be flat black. I'm leaving the plastic stock. I think it will look pretty good when done.

Hi all, I'm having issues removing my front hubs & rear axle. I'm unable to remove the hubs, the nuts are off but it will not budge. Same deal in the back, the 2 axle nuts are off & the chain carrier removed but the axle won't budge. Also, how much of a pain is it to change the shift star? I'd like to do the modded shift star from fast, but it looks kind of buried in there. Thanks

Do I need to remove the oil seals in the clutch cover to powder coat it? I ask because it looks like the impeller bearing holds in an oil seal. Has any one on hear done this? Thanks.
