    Has anyone done tests to see if different brands/ styles of silencer packing affect sound much? i looked into my new cpi inframes and they have very loose steel-wool looking packing. this surely cant absorb as much as say, the moose stringy stuff i used in my fmfs.

    P.S. I bought mine from motion pro in 2001. its been loaned out, lost, found, and has bout 50 flywheels under its belt and still kickin. great product.

    its not always that the pullers are cheap making their threads "soft as butter". which would you rather strip? you flywheel? or your cheap puller? just make sure your threads are clean, and thread it in ALL the way, and pop, off she comes.

    by the way, number of posts isnt really a great way to do it. QUALITY of posts is important. there are kids on here with lots of posts simply sayin "lol". my setup is about average for a duner at little sahara here in OK. exactly what type of rider are you targeting with these?

    I am down to just reed selection on my build, then once broke in it will be on the dyno at Sandtrax here in tulsa. I am wanting to try different setups to see where my particular motor shines.

    try a set of automotive shock bushings from a stud mount type shock. like say......... 85 chevy monte carlo for example. might have to cut them to be thinner, and open the hole up. but at least they wont look home made. look in the "help" section of your local parts store.

    o1 raptor had trans probs. 02 was upgraded (thats what wifey rides) other than that they are tall and narrow, and bicycle like a mofo in tight corners. consider a-arms and axle if your gonna get real jiggy on it. by the way, the stock aluminum upper a-arms are another weak point. oh, and intake boots. ok im done for a minute.

    i am still looking for a stator cover for a 88 lt500. i built one for a buddy, and i guess i didnt get the flywheel tight enough. lol. anyways, broke the cover too bad to weld it and i need to replace it for them.

    a yamaha dt200wc uses a blaster bottom end, and is watercooled and powervalved. i wanna see it when your done, when i had a blaster i did some research on it. cool because you can still use a blaster pipe!! ps, the bike is only available in europe, and i think canada. oh, and japan, duh!

    they work awsome on blasters, but thats with 70 lb kids who are scared to jump riding em! thats the only thing i would even consider putting em on.
