  1. Hi, I have just read this topic because your problem sounds exactly like mine right now. Im gna re-sync my carbs n do the other stuff mentioned above. Wanted to no if this fixed your problem?
  2. My friend has a kawasaki 450r n it is an amazing quad and while im having my shee rebuilt iv bin riding his kwaka. Have to say stock v stock the handling is so much better but compared to my shee (which is modded) I think its quicker n im rely excited wen iv finish my shee so we can race. I think i wud slightly pull away from him lower end but yes his top end mite b beta, we will see. Ill let u no.
  3. Powdercoating is all good but a friend in the trade suggested that I paint my frame because even though powdercoating is very strong compared to painting, if you have a shunt you can't see the cracks in your frame where as with a painted frame you can. This is a plus because you can then weld where the frame as cracked and in the long reduce risks. Just a thought but gud luck
  4. Also wanted to know the spec siza for the carb hoses used on the shee i.e. are they 3/16", 1/8"?
  5. Just wondering whether any1 knows the actual spec size on the standard coolant hoses used on the shee. I am after these in purple and saw them on ebay but it doesnt give what model it's for only the size.
  6. Thanks for your advice, followed up on what you said and found a product called DuPont which is used to spray car bumpers. I might see if I can do it myself or mite go to an body work shop.
  7. Im going for a purple and balck colour scheme on my shee and currently re-building it as we speak. I have all the frame, shocks n engine sorted but i'm left with blue plastics and wondering without buying new plastics (because there hard 2 get hold of here in the UK) what the best way of painting it black?
  8. Had a little accident on my shee not long ago and the damages involved a bent front bumper and creased plastics where it has been bent from the collision. On my rear fender is a ugly white crease and I wanted to no if anyone knew of a way to repair this. One way would be to cutt he fenders as alot of you do but for the mean time I want to keep it as it is. I heard that if you use a heat gun this could help. If so what steps do you need to take or is there an alternative.
  9. Hey up mate. Yeh I live in Lincolnshire. Plenty of off road spots 2 ride my shee here but I really want it on the road and its gonna happen. I spoke to a bloke up in Leeds who specialises in banshee mods his name is Ian Bay and he rekons it would be better to get it done yaself for abot
  10. I want to road legalise my shee on UK roads but I dont want to take it to a specialised centre because it costs to much. Does any one no roughly how much it will cost to do it yourself and the appropriate steps in getting it legalised i.e. road legal tyres, electrics etc. I currently have a FMF pipe set up and it screams beautifully, was wondering whether this maybe a problem with the bill.
