  1. here you go  its definitly not 100% curing. but its not sticky at all and wont rub off easy, but i can put a scratch in it with my fingernail. and it holds water under it too so getting it 100% covered is a must. im only gonna drag it and pitride so i wanted a different look since its backyard engineered. haha wet, you can see the tar color. it has a reflective look to it in the light but up close its textured a bit and has a nice flat look to it.
  2. good job, now go out and blow it up! just kidding haha you found the right site to hang out bro
  3. nice transferrs. there huuge haha
  4. i still never got any acetone or stripper for my rad. i guess im getting bored having no money for parts and no parts to put on haha
  5. just joking hahaha i cant let it go yet.... lol ill shoot some pics of my progress tonight when i get home. i start my new job tomorrow!
  6. yeap. it appears as if im done with my shee.... i cant take the horseshit i get with it anymore. i have about 7 replys to a kijiji ad that i just answered, someones getting a steal. i wont be leaving the site tho. Reason im selling is i really need some cash, and i want to move to ottawa. So i gotta get some dough and save a bit.
  7. yeap thats the way shes done. really simple.
  8. who wants aftermarket!
  9. and i was just wanting to buy myself an old blaster to replace the shee as the trail bike haha, but ya know what. good choice. 4 strokes will run into the ground unlike a banshee.
  10. yeap tates bike is the bluest shee around haha -i never had the chance to get the rad stripped yet, but very soon it will be done its on my list as one of the next things to be done. metal rad hose eh? is that stuff like electrical conduit? where in the fuck does one get that? i did find some nice stainless braided rad hose. not slip on or anything, and it does happen to be lightly coated. i think ill most likely go with that stuff. the guys said they can form it to shape.
  11. wear it dude, you just may end up with a "rubberneck"
  12. nice. thanks alot guys i never even thought about diesel and silicone. where did you get the slip over stuff tidos? i was going to buy a couple lengths of braided rad hose. nascar grade haha. kaos gave me a pointer on acetone stripping my rad so naturally the hoses gotta bling too
  13. "today's lesson is keeping the women happy"
  14. id just like to recommend debbie and stan over at D&S Billet to you guys, i had ordered some dust covers and had to back out because of my bank throwing me the "fuck you we got your money card" they were ok with it and i had GREAT communication with the seller. if any of you are looking for a dipstick, delron bushings, dust caps (available anodized or polished) or other billet items get in touch with them by contacting them from their ebay store and mention you saw they were recommended from here, you might be in for a deal! heres the link to their ebay store ---------> D&S Billet Products great customer service, great responce time. I will be buying from them ASAP.
  15. i hear ya  i agree, i wish people would fucking read the first page of topics before posting. its like "uh oh! i have to post that my clutch pearch is worn out! what do i do? (the answer of course from everyone would be buy a new one, stupid questions DO exist, we unfortunatley have to put up with them.) a links resource on the main page would be great, way back in the day when i frequented exriders.com they had a links page with everything from members pages to manufacturers sites and even some tech pages for troubleshooting. thats smart in my opinion, instead of harvesting all the web traffic as possibble why not point a question straight at the source of the answer? i wouldnt go to wal mart and ask them where i could buy some craftsmen tools... SOME PEOPLES KIDS HOWEVER
  16. nothing. thats the answer i checked the clymer. they state no changes in the trans. internals
  17. alot of people take them off for looks and weight.... BUT. i tell ya, catching your heels and running over your leg will haul you off so fast you wont even have the chance to hold on or think. and the potential for injury is great, they are there for a reason. if you are faithful in your riding abilities and think your safe to keep your feet planted go for it there is nothing wrong with not using them (i sure as fuck dont, and i have ran over my leg on 2 occasions. got lucky the first time the second time my nuts hit the peg and i carved up the inside of my upper leg to the point of seventeen stiches, so its your call. if your woorried and you want them gone for looks only, i suggest a good set of nerfs if they wont interfere with your style of riding. there fine in the woods but they do occasionally pick up sticks and horseshit. your call. my vote is to chuck em. you wont run over your fucking leg more then twice.
  18. when mine started running on one cylinder it was because it was worn the fuck out and needed a bottom end. compression had nothing to do with it either, it was a worn BE bearing.
  19. take your plastics off and run the bike naked. cut fenders are for dry sandy areas. remember the fact they protect your eyes. and those fenders look good as they are. if you want the skinny look, like i said, run it naked
  20. nodda way. if there shot there shot. try searching endlessly for the honda civic ball joint mod. they might fit in the hole if you cut the old ones out. before a-arms came down in price this was a popular mod for the mx crowd as there much stronger. heres a civic replacement ball joint, see what i mean. looks almost like a drop in. honda ball joint
  21. to start, lets hear the top 10 engine diagnostic/repair issues? leave aside the main ingredients. like checking compression, spark, fuel, and airflow. mabye we can make ONE post to diagnose and troubleshoot each of those areas, then link this into the top of the general sticky. is it just me or is this starting to sound like bitching and or whining? i dont exactly care to write page after page of text online and im sure noone else will step forward either to do the same, if a question has to be asked let it be asked. i encourage everyone to answer others posts as well because in all actuality isnt that how we learn? say i tell someone to check their floats for sticking due to a flooding problem. think about the idiot with the problem not knowing dick about ho to check a stuck float let alone know thats plainly the problem? all of us become better mechanics because of the resources on our site, and i for one and very thankful that people have told me i was wrong after i posted something. why? because i didnt KNOW i was wrong and by being corrected, i learned something new that i might not have thought of at the same time buddy with the problem might have learned 2 things even if they dont both apply to his problem. by reading, posting, and questioning we learn. thats my $00.02
  22. just posted in the search thread about this. im in. if im up late this morning mabye ill harvest a few similar threads and link them up under one to be stickied. thats all that needs to be done, put the top ten most common threads into one post. put the links for each of the top 10 common threads into groups. sticky. later on, click, read, enjoy. if you still dont get boost bottles after reading 10-15 different posts about them covering every aspect and arguement and your question isnt answered, post!
  23. bansheeman nailed it on the head what i was getting at. a forum cleanup and a few stickies. mabye disable the minimum character count too.... that is all to often fucking annoying
  24. i dont like Planet shit. their site is plugged with advertisements for overpriced services. Sure, there is alot of know how about dragging there but most of them are the money talks crowd, dont want to give up any secrets unless your paying out the ass for your ride like the rest of em.
