  1. i have only ever been able to go over once on my shee... with a stock length swinger. its all aboutgetting afeel for yr clutch. this is what i may suggest. save a couple bucks, and buy a 2 finger, ez pull clutch lever. learn to take off while grabbing up the motors revs with the clutch! you will have a better skill and better appreciation for the machine! after learning how to holeshot you may even opt for a SHORTER swingarm, youll get more traction in the trails, and still be able to whoop them 4-fittys

  4. its a 2 stroke, as long as you get it started the water will just burn right out. id only be worried about water in the....hmm wait a second. anyone else? id think that getting it good and warmed up would evaporate it.... however i wouldnt ride without a filter thats bad jetting
  5. i have smoked crack once. but hey, a 250R with a cr in it isnt ORIGINAL. sure to the owner its one off and original enough but to the enthusiast like me, it still aint factory legend. a tecate by the way will rip a 250R by a few bike lengths. ive ridden a tecate and a quadzilla. and i know what my banshee will do. im not pro banshee everything nor am i dissagreeing you guys are right tho, perhaps for rideabilitys sake he should keep it. To you folks who hate your zillas, crate the bitch and ill buy it. ill put my banshee build on hold to get ahold of one of them.
  6. about the coolant bottle. the rad cap IS thehighest point in the cooling system but when your at WFO (and your impellar is circulating it as fast as possibble) your coolant will drop about an inch below the top of the rad. i know this because to get air out of your system you ride around with no cap! this makes, a hot spot sort of. how do you fix it? a coolant bottle with high and low marks. without it? get goin in 2nd gear on a flat straight surface close to WFO and take a 600ml pop bottle and dump it in at the low point then cram the lid back on it. for the most part, it WILL stay in there

  10. here ya'll go. 2 cut powercore II's the stingers are cut off because they were jimmy welded in the first place. im gonna rebend and weld some new ones once the bikes more togeather.gonna PC the end caps too. measure the part you removed to determine how much core to remove finished silencers, unpacked unpolished. raw shortened shittyness. itll be better when i get around to it i removed a total of 4.5 inches per silencer

  18. ok now im beating the dead horse. i just got the machine at fast. i figured id do a search. basically, the only upside i can see to a DUNEABLE override is clutchless WFO upshifting. right? now heres my question, you can ride these babys like an OEM tranny right? ive been on clutches for years and its hard to wrap my mind around ripping gears without a clutch, i can shift pretty quick too and still use my clutch (however its hard on the clutch) is an override and lockup totally unnessassary for anything less an alky? im thinking i wont need it. but getting rid of first gear? mabye.... the modded shift star fixes this would stock tranny (neutral down) and a lockup clutch with a new pack in it be just fine for a 4mil ported cub thats really workin hard? im by no means destructive on engines, if they aint runnin right i figure out why instead of ride diagnostics.... sorry but the whole trans dilema has me fuckin confused.

  20. to hell with the cascade calendar haha i like the dedicated bhq monitor on his work bench. it appropriatley takes up more space than the actual work hahahahaha frame looks a shitload better than it did thats for sure. and gloss black touches up nice as long as you re clear it!
  21. hey i never hered of it yet. i think itll be sweet expecially with 3" x 3" squares, mabye angle them? id have to agree with buddy above. fuck the rivets go with stainless nuts and bolts..... i just thought about the weight that would add tho. hmmmmm now THIS is alot more work BUT, cross lacing it togeather with thin solder wire would be pretty cool... but i think that would be big time dune looking. cant be hard on work like that. fuck the bolts. go with rivets. but stainless for sure it would look good with the ti.

  23. im gonna do this with my powercore II's i was just wondering the same thing. i knew it would give me better lowend and THAT is what im goin for. shee motors are highsped anyway they like the revs. might as well gain where it aint got. it still makes a difference in overall power no matter what. giver. good excuse to repack too.
  24. and to think i was going to SHORTEN my swingarm.... fuck i was just asking for a backwards rollover bahahahahha. mod list looks tight man. welcome id go with the stock ported cages and carbon reeds, the vforces were proven on the dyno here in a recent post. buy yourself a couple hand files at the hardware store and watch tv for an evening with your cages. its like petting a cat.
  25. there need to be a decent store in canada and some decent builders. they would make a fortune. more like a fucking owners co-operative. im sure you know what i mean being out west and all. co-op stores have been around for ages. the members buy what the members want bringing prices down for everyone, im going to start up with a buddy here importing parts and services but we still haven figured out the customs crap.... as a group of enthusiasts, i say we come togeather and FIND the builders, FIND the machine shops, FIND that sort of crap and do the math ourselves, not only to reap the cash rewards but think of how much the sport scene would explode up here? instead of hitting the dunes people would hit the tundra haha what i was thinking, was buying the parts. PAYING out the ASS to have them cpoied under my own name (cascadecanada or therealrockies or some shit like that) and just using our economy to produce the parts HERE for HERE. knawmsayin? i know... it sucks having to pay customs tax on shit. i cant wait to send jeff my motor and get it back... im gonna send him some goddamn giftwrap and a birthday card for myself so i dont have to pay tarriffs. its my birthday
