    Than you don't know what your doing. My bike makes 100+ HP and ice keeps it cool just fine. You need to go with some better jetting because a mostly stock system can keep a high HP banshee cool. You must be lean and not know it. Being lean on the pilot can get you HOT even when you're not hard on the throttle.

    Well I have the full Hinson system in 2 bikes. My wife's 63 HP bike has the full Hinson 8 plate (with cushions) My 100+ HP 10 mill cub has the 8 plate spring loaded Hinson system. There is NO PLAY in the spring basket. I had it off a week ago for some clutch work and gave it a full going over.

    Rattle cans are fine for a jalopy bike. They make jalopy bikes look like pretty shiny jalopy bikes. But once you go to a Bling Ride…the rattle cans have to get put away.

    Well I won't comment on what you got vs what you thought you were getting, but I'd start by taking the serial numbers off the shocks and call Elka. They can tell you what weight they are set up for and help you dial in the settings for you. If the shocks are wrong, that's a whole different issue. But I have Elka's and literally couldn't be any happier.

    Timing didn't add fuel. Reed spacers didn't add fuel and going up one pilot size sure wouldn't be a noticeable amount of gas. It's all in your head. (Or your floats need adjustment and gas is pouring out the overflow the whole time you're riding.) Why did you put reed spacers in?

    Everyone makes mistakes. Trinity made a mistake and you ended up with a motor that was ok. (Obviously you are one of the FEW exceptions to their normal results.) But when they get it right…..it ends up wrong. LOL (There is a Trinity motor on the bench right now with a convergent squish measurement of .019 at the cylinder wall and .017 at the end of the squish band) The piston batch numbers are actually showing on the dome! ANYONE ELSE'S head and domes FTW.

    If you're using the same rims....there is a chance when removing the old tires and mounting new......installer may have bent rims with tire machine. Or those tires are shaped like stop signs. Were they spin balanced? Some brands have heavy spots in the carcass.

    More than allowed. But my 10mill Cub rides right thru the gate for years untested.Wife's 63 HP 370 long rod motor with BRAND NEW FMF Turbine Core Silencers gets testef at the 97 dB limit.

    Not for sound. They do that at the entry and it's random and rare. (Only 3 sound checks in our group in 15+ years. ) But at the strip DNR will swing thru and eyeball the drag bikes. Lately they even have a 4x4 quad with a ranger chilling on the hills around the strip with binoculars.
