  1. Sadly...as a complete bike......you'll take a bath selling it whole. Bikes like that have fallen to $6,000 - $6,500 You have WAY more into it than that. You would be better to part it. Or maybe he wants it bad enough to pay you more considering what's done to it, but I've seen too many bikes with that level of performance and quality sit without offers on Ebay to think that you'll have much luck getting $8,000+ for it. The typical "Cascade Bling Bike" that was in the $20,000 range to build and would sell for 13-15K has dropped to the $7,500 - $9,000 asking price levels and go without offers or sales because owners know what they have in them and would rather keep them than entertain lowballers. You just got that bike together...you can't be tired of it already...........
  2. Like she does to everyone. Nothing new there........those could be 2011 pics. You can't have an eggshell ego if your going to drag at Silver Lake MI ............ Cause your going to get beat by a girl unless your riding a weekday.
  3. But anyone who would like to come the 22-23-24 of June is more than welcome to join us.
  4. Bump as a reminder to anyone who is still looking to come up on any of these dates.
  5. Sounds like we got a party in the works. But Nick.....We're going the 22-23-24 of June remember.
  6. I'm looking to hear more info on Mark's crash............ Curt came back and spun a B.S. story about Mark sucking a reed so they had to park the bikes, but didn't waste any time sending the link to images of them in the DuneTV Memorial day teaser. Of course according to him......"They were within a bike of everyone". I was wondering if joee20002 had noticed Curt on his green/white bike. I know Curt told him last year that he was only about a bike length slower than him.......Then I saw Joe's Youtube video of the race and Curt wasn't even on the screen at the end.
  7. Yes, I know the guy your talking about with the all blue bike with A&S motor. It was originally set up for pump gas and he switched it to alky last year. No override and his front end likes to spend alot of time in the air. He's from chicago's north side..........Did he get hurt? (Who broke a leg?) Yes, Curt's Brother-in-law is Mark. (White and Blue 10 mill banshee on alky.) Curt has the white and Green 10 mill banshee on gas. Both have overrides.
  8. Are you talking about the blue and white bike and the guy on the green and white bike? They are from the Chicago area. Did the blue bike rider get dumped that weekend? Hey Joe...how did you do against the green bike?
  9. REDLINE RACING You won't be sorry. Cameron is a top notch guy!
  10. See above quote - That was for my dune bike.....I'm 200+ and was running a non-override tranny. I understand that you believe what your saying. I've also always admitted that different motors will like different pipes. But the statement the CPI's will work better for a heavier rider...or are more "forgiving" on shifts?..... That's just assigning a Character trait to a pipe that might not always be the case. I know it's a strong opinion, but it wasn't true based on the dyno and ride testing I did. I bought CPI's believing the same theory you just stated. Then had to buy another set of pipes when I found out it wasn't true. Your motor will know what pipe it likes best, and your builder should be able to advise you on what pipe will best meet your motors needs. I'm not saying that CPI's aren't good or that Shearers will always beat CPI's......but I am saying that the view that CPI's will work better for a heavier rider or be more forgiving on shifts is misleading, as testing has shown otherwise in many instances.
  11. Of course......12 hours after I buy a set that I still have to trench. FUCK!
  12. I'm not saying anything........I'm just quietly sitting here peeing myself.
  13. Depends on the build. My motor made the same low end power with Shearers as it did with CPI's (My dyno overlays matched perfectly!)....but made 14 more HP and revved another 1000 RPM with the Shearers. So the belief that CPI's have more low end torque isn't always the case. He says he has a dune port and I see nothing but sand in his signature pics......So I'm going to say pipe it like it's a dune bike. What you pick for a dune pipe is your personal choice.....but for a bike with a dune port and all sand riding.....I'm going to say Shearers FTW.
  14. Yes, your head change should not have required that big of a jet change. So your obviously having a hard time understanding that something lead to an air leak. (Your not lean in the classic jetting sense....your bringing air into the motor in a way that doesn't come thru the carbs.) You can't re-jet to deal with an air leak. You might have a squish that is now too tight...it could have lead to detonation on your first riding attempt and that could have caused an air leak. So let's drop the jetting questions and get on to figuring out what your real issue is. For starters, you should start figuring out how to do a squish check and compression check when you make changes like that.. (Since you didn't do those when you put the shaved head on) Your going to have to figure out where the air leaked in from even if you get new pistons a rebuild the motor. Now the piston could have broken from too much sidewall clearance combined with the added power. (beefing up power on a tired motor) Or the piston could have been tilting and/or hitting the head, then putting a side load on the bottom skirt.... Long story short....your issue isn't the jetting. So having those big jets didn't cause the problem. But you have some work ahead of you to find the cause.
  15. Are you just looking for custom color, or are you looking for more of an airbrushed/flame/tribal/or graphic design?
  16. Yes there is some "Asymmetry" in the stock frame set-up. Your correct that it doesn't line up straight.
  17. X2 They don't come on later......they come on harder for longer. You won't loose bottom end....the top end will just be SO MUCH stronger, that you'll think the pipe is all top end....but it will only be because your motor never pulled so hard. Your low end power will still be there and still be just as strong. Depending on your compression...your motor might like CPI's better if the compressions way up there.......but if your not making more than about 165psi kicking....I'd go with the Shearers.
  18. Thanks for the offer, getting the cases clean isn't a problem.....finding good cases without a major chain whack or trashed bearing surfaces is just kinda getting tuff right now. I was hoping to not have to go to Ebay for the solution.........I might have to roll the dice. I need some trenched for a +10 crank, but that's a needle in a hay stack at this point, so I was looking for a nice stock set to have trenched.
  19. Mailman has a crazy cool Triple that he's posted a lot of info on in the video section........it's rippin fast on the hill and pushing over 150HP on a conservative dyno.
  20. Need a good set of cases for a 10mm cub. Stock that I can trench or some already set up for a a 10 mm crank. Need ASAP!
