  1. Your not right man...
  2. Where can I get them chromed at? I'll have to ask the podercoating place if they chrome... If not, maybe someone on here does it?
  3. The stock ones axtually look kind of cool, but man they are hollow and just bend with any pressure. The PRM I have is indestructible... and there are many others as well.
  4. I had a strong running bike, that I regret I sold a few years ago... I shoulda kept it and got a banshee too... I used to have anywhere from 170-195 on a strong stock stroke motor... but after alot of work, and a ESR Big bore kit, head, port job and timing, I was running well over 200 PSI in that thing, closer to 210-215 PSI on a fresh top end. And since the banshee has 2 cylindcers, it is hard to tell with the kicker. But you sure as heck could tell with 1 cylinder trying to kick that much compression. I am a firm believer in the bore size making this happen. The four strokes are a totally different story, but a few buddies have kickers on their yfz 450's, and man, they have to get up on the seat and give 'er hell. The cylinders and pistons on those puppies are like bowling balls. I am not going to say that is what makes the compression happen, and making you need race gas.... but it sure is logical and I think may have a;lot to do with it with my experiences.
  5. My honda 250r had a standard bore of 66mm. Higher than the banshee...
  6. Just get an aftermarket... if you play bumper cars alot, you'll be fixing that more than riding
  7. Their intakes with the crossover tube is awesome. And I saw a 30% aftermarket radiator over the weekend made by Boss and it was pretty cool.
  8. I have had a few frames, swingarms, etc. powdercoated over the years. But I still have some questions... What about a-arms? Many said before the ball bearings can't come out, and powdercoating them is a risk. I never did them... But my stock a-arms are getting ugly, well they were the day I bought the thing. But just wondering what you guys do. Soray paint them to match the frame? Touch them up with oem paint? What's my options? I will be doing tis over the winter...
  9. Boss Racing Products are top notch...
  10. It all goes by bore size... the 125's I think are like a 54mm bore or something. Stock banshee bore is 64mm I believe. That might be the difference At least is is logical with pressure and Octance requirements...
  11. I had a lt250 quadracer and it was bad news... everything on it from day one was either replaced, ductaped, or ziptied.... or customized someway, somewhow. If you have time on your hands to work on it, and more time to maybe ride it afterwards, I'd say go ahead and get one. Get yourself a few rolls of heavy duty zip ties and ductape, and you should have either the 250 or 500 rolling soon enough. Or you can just send it to Dr. Q and have him redo the whole thing for the price of your house, and then maybe it won't fall apart. I love suzuki in general as I have 2 utilitys by the company and I have the first one ever made, a 1984 lt250. I have it covered in the garage, all waxed up looking like the day it came off the showroom floor... and it will pull start, or electric start if the battery isn't dead, first try. BUT their sport quads from the '80's are the biggest disappointment to hit the sport ever... A buddy of mine has a quadzilla, and it has been sitting in his garage for the last 6-7 tears.... looking at it in the corner of his shanty speaks for itself. That's my experience, and my .02
  12. Yes, screw Suzukis. Oil spewing, breaking pieces of shit on 4 wheels is what they are.
  13. They are the worst handling, parts falling off and hardest riding quad I ever saw. And good luck finding parts
  14. Yes, I agree on everything said on both the 250 and 500 lt's being a riding deathtrap. I had a 250, a friend had a 250 and I know a few zillas around. They all needed some serious work to even be on the reliable side of things. They are old... that is true. To have one that is reliable nad capable of not dying on will cost some money. You Quadzilla guys should race some of the built banshees these guys have, not one that is sputtering and spinning in grass like dying roadkill
  15. This won't be until the winter... well, in just a few weeks as I will drain the fluids and put her away for the winter. So it will have to wait a few weeks.
  16. I have a buddy that ran Lucas Stabilizer in his for one oil change...
  17. Bel Ray gearsaver
  18. I will be selling mt pipes here shortly, let me know if anybody wants them. Look new I want to get either Shearers or CPI inframes...
  19. Well you rode it, you'd know... I just don't want to make it looking like a track bike. I want it to be able to move laterally and not just straight if you know what I mean. When you took it down the road, what did you think? I only saw you ripping it through your yard... that poor yard, lol I bet those hogs on the back did a little damage
  20. Yes, I need one. It pulls up on every hill, although leaning completely over the bars helps. I can't go too big due to needing it to manever a trail or two when I go to some local hills... I think a +2 will suffice. If I was just putting it in the truck and going to the hills, I'd go +4. But I have a 5 minute ride to the local hills here and anything bigger won't due me any good. But yea, I can't believe it pulls 6th gear like it is in 1st lol
  21. I had a guy take video of my bike yesterday against a highly modded 'shee and a kfx 450, and a YFZ with alot of work too such as cam, full exhaust, bore kit, quick shot, filter, etc.. I went to go delete one of the videos I had from weeks ago to get more time to get some footage of hillclimbs and I accidentally deleted them all. Needless to say I was pretty upset. But the bike beat all of them in a 400-500 ft. run by at least 10-12 bikes letting off 4th gear in the end. Not to mention the big hogs on the rear rims. But I will be sure to not do that again. I will have video for you to see this run here in a few days as soon as my new chain comes in. I took it off as it didn't have much life left in it, and it was just shot to hell. I also had video of it hillclimbing but that got deleted too. The camera asks you to delete all videos first instead of deleting one at a time like it should. I just assumed it asked me to delte the one I wanted to delete and it took all of them. There will be more like I said, but it runs, it really does. I had alot of guys tell me the last 2 days that an atv isn't supposed to be that fast... for a stock stroke bike, it moves. You will be getting the jugs again for sure to do the next bore/hone. And after talking with Butch, after these jugs are but as much as they could go, I might just have to have you do me up a 4 mil cub. Thanks my man, you sure made her fly. It has twice the power it had withall the bolt ons you can have on it...
  22. I need a swingarm badly
  23. I think I will call Trinity and see what they say... hopefully I don't have to use their packing.
  24. Thanks alot guys... good info. I am pretty positive I can get my hands on some fmf packing. I saw it the other day.
