  1. Call Kevin at Herr Jugs Racing... he will set you up with any size motor you want and plain out make that setup haul ass.
  2. You tell 'em pinned...
  3. Looking for an aftermarket set of front hubs, maybe some spindles, etc. Let me know if you guys have anything... I am ready to buy!
  4. I am very impressed with the KMC chains. I get the gold o-ring chains and they have been very reliable on my other bikes, and I have one on my 'shee for 2 weeks now. Looks good and performs good too.
  5. They should work just fine for your application and circumstances. The rears are obviously what you need...
  6. I am sure he will take your deal... he hasn't been on. I'll talk to him in the morning as we both have off, and will be working on his bike around 8am.
  7. Man, that sucks. I wish you the best and hope the ear is fine in years to come. Hopefully it is ok.
  8. I am getting one myself over the winter when I rip her down for powdercoating. I think I will go with the TM, but the Modquad was very nice for the price.
  9. Yes, you made the right decision. And once you get the 4 stroke, you will always have the screamer too. Good decision. I am on the hunt for a nice putter myself as well.
  10. Did your piston actually come off the crank rod? That is something I never heard of before... what caused this to happen?
  11. Try 1 thing at a time...
  12. Sounds like a jetting and idle problem. When the idle is high, you give it gas, and it stays revved for a little bit before coming down. Look there first, try adjusting as needed.
  13. Thanks for the offers guys.... I am sure he will take one of these. Anybody else beat these prices?
  14. Kevin Herr at http://www.herrjugsracing.com/ Knows his shit, can make a bike fly, will be very reliable, and will be the best customer service you dealt with period... he will answer any questions, spend any time on the phone to make sure you know what is going on, and did I say he will make your bike grow wings and fly? He is the man to go to... sounds like you want a 4 mil crank setup with ported jugs and a little bit of a bore/hone. He will set you up. Visit the website above!
  15. You have electrical problems then... if it ran good with 280's and was good on the air/fuel mixture jetting wise before, and then all of a sudden that happened, then you have electrical problems. Staor, CDI, etc. Check the gap on the stator, swap the CDO with a friend (make sure it is the same one), and see whats up.
  16. Yes, they are hands down a tough ass 2 stroke for sure. I know my cousin has a 2000 and he tried to blow it up for a few weeks and just gave up trying. They are definately tough if you take care of them for sure. Good luck on your search getting one!
  17. He has no timing advance and is running a non-milled stock head. He is running Voto's power pistons He has probably 30 hours on the bike since rebuilt and bored/honed .020 over. I think he is in great shape with that compression.
  18. It wasn't as bad as I imagined.... I was expecting the bike to be in shambles, but it wasn't bad. Needs bars, new clutch lever, spindle, and grab bar is torn up bad. Plastics are not in that bad of shape but they are not the nicest things I ever seen. Good thing is if he needs to, he can keep them on until he can get what he wants. I was thinking he needed them ASAP because they were cracked. But no cracks, just bad stress marks, and some bendage here and there.
  19. We installed an aluminum Modquad case saver on his bike today. His case is cracked a tad due to the roll on the hill and the chain poppping, but he talked with the local machine shop who did his porting, and he is going to get his cases back in tip top shape. The modquad case saver went on very nice... no troubles. It seems well constructed, thick and looks radical too. Should serve it's purpose.
  20. Ripped PJ24's bike apart tonight, and found not as many things wrong as we thought. But his right spindle is bent on the bottom out, pushing the top of the tire in on an angle. So we need one ASAP... thatnks guys
  21. Yes, definately get the TM designs if you have the money. I ran that on the Warrior and the 250r and had a chain pop off up 'Ol Blacky with the Honda. Case never split, and heck, the case saver itself was still good.
  22. You have 280 mains in it now and it is popping and such. That is lean. So you want to go up on the mains. Definately bump up 2 sizes for sure. What clip are you on now? That can be a big thing too with the needle clip position. Try 300 mains with the needle clip on the 3rd position.
  23. Thanks everyone so far... no decisions made yet Anybody else have anything to offer?
