  1. 4th item on right side.... in with the springs. Those springs are great too.... Gold tops are stock on Keihin... you can see the length difference http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/products.as...set=50&cat=
  2. If they don't wiggle or leak, then why would you have to? I take them off often... lately at least. The more you take them off, the o-rings wear and tear, etc. The seal becomes worn. Your best seal with o-rings in the exhaust will be the first 1-2 times you install. As long as you are not leaking, don't bother. Wiggling as well is not good. But this Permatex RTV stuff I just picked up is made to make gaskets and such. Good stuff. Protects way past 500 degrees. So it is good for the bike and reliable. I am letting it completely seal overnight... although it sealed instantly when I put it on earlier. They say it is completely done in 24 hrs.
  3. Let's start making some plans... where should we meet at? What time? Is pabansheematt coming up this way as well with his crew?
  4. My exhaust fits awesome. I love it and plan on keeping them after some thought. The only problem was they still have the original o-rings in them after about 7 years of use. But I took them out, heated them up, put them back in and did the silicone. She's tight like a virgin now
  5. That's actually not even that far... could do that! How are they in Michigan compared to others out west?
  6. Little Sahara as far as I know... in Oklahoma
  7. 5 minutes apart. It is a very good area for this kind of stuff
  8. Re-did them today with some high temp Permatex RTV. That stuff is the ticket
  9. Let's keep our fingers crossed Lucy stays in one piece by then lol
  10. That's what we plan on doing.... the moon and the gap being the primary hills for the day. Norms is a good choice as well
  11. Bring your camera... mine only holds so much video
  12. I got them on my PWK 33mm's... A+ on them. They really do the job. Screw right in and let the slides open all the way. WOT is always a plus
  13. Wrangler Jeans, Steeltoe Boots and a helmet. A bookbag for a 6 pack too
  14. Oy yea, I forgot about that... I was thinking about that problem I think when you told me. When I get thinking on something like a tuning problem that you had, I kind of blank out and get in the zone. But now that you mention it, I do remember you telling me that. Was it a liquid, like a watery silicone out of a spray can? Or was it a creamy out of a tube?
  15. Did alot of maintenance to the banshee tonight... alot. Cut brackets off the frame, greased the axle bearings and front wheel bearings, and fixed the right head pipe that had a small wiggle to it. I took the o-ring out, but didn't replace it. I sprayed some pure silicone in there and put the o-ring back in. It fixed it nicely... and should expand pretty well when it gets warm/hot. New o-rings from let's say FMF, the ones that are universal for alot of pipes, do not fit the trinitys. I would have to order them directly from Trinity. So I used the silicone. I will replace them over the winter for sure. What are other methods you guys are using? Anyone else use silicone? What were the results?
  16. Pauly John (PJ24) in the winner's circle at the local dragstrip this past Friday night. I made it to the final 3 and redlighted so I was eliminated. Pauly here on the other hand whooped some ass and took out the champ that won several weeks in a row. He matched his time by 2/100's of a second. Way to be consistent when it counts! Congrats brotha
  17. I can't wait to go this weekend
  18. Pauly John can chime in on this one... he rides the roads now all the time. Heck, took his quad to auto zone on 61 the other week for some oil. Pulled it in like a car in the parking space like it was his mazda
  19. My tires are bald... and stop following me up the lookout hills and you won't get smoked with rocks
  20. I'd ride my banshee to the supermarket everyday and pull a wagon behind it for the groceries
  21. Spiders all the way...
  22. I say no handguards!!!
  23. This is an easy job... but a time consuming one. Take both tires and hubs off. Then loosen both axle locknuts towards the left. Pop the masterlink off the chain and then take chain off sprocket. Then the sprocket hub slides off to the left. Brake caliper on the back comes off the disc. Take it off and let it on the swinger or just let it hang. Then tap the axle out towards the right if looking from the rear. Then take the carrier off to put new bearings in. Note: If you never took the axle out, it might be hard to come out. Get a piece of woods, put it against the left rear axle end and give it a good whack with a buddy holding the bike. New bearing are always good to have in there. Also, try and grease them as much as possible, and if you really want it to be easy, install a grease zirk on that carrier. That will make life alot easier for you greasing it. But definately replace those bearings. Use the above methods, they all work. Good luck
  24. HillClimbr, if you decide you want to visit the Black Dessert, the Moon, or Norms Hillclimbs on Sunday, you can park at my place. I can meet you here and we can ride right to the Dessert and start hitting the hills. Just let me know
