  1. what do you mean? like stock cylinders with BB sleeves installed? how much?
  2. I checked out the website. $55 for boring. As far as shipping, we can pack them in a small box. I dont think it'd be $35 if i use ground. idk. ill figure out shipping and come up with something
  3. does he have a username on here to PM or do i have to go to his website?
  4. That;s acually a pretty good price. Stroudsburg is in notheast PA though. They're at .040 but the previous owner blew it up, so they have some scratches in them. Im estimating about .020 has to come off to clean them up. Do you have any pics of your work? or feedback for it? Another guy in jersey claimed to be good, but he fuckin BUTCHERED my dads cylinders. We cancelled the check. Hes never gonna see us again.
  5. Im not exactly going the "cheap route" thats why I wont let the local guy touch my cylinders. I know theres got to be some reputable people out there that have decent pricing.
  6. Hey. Who does really cheap cylinder boring? I know a local place that charged $75 for both cylinders but I dont like the way he does it (rigid hone) also, i have to take off like .020 to clean the cylinders up. So who has em fairly cheap.
  7. Hey. Im looking for some fairly cheap cylinders. Preferably ones that are somewhat fresh so I can get away with a hone. or, a wiesco .060 over piston kit to match the cylinders I have now.
  8. I like all of them, lol. But my top favorites, are: 2003 Yellow fronts & black rears 1999 Red fenders with black tank/radiatior I believe 97, the black plastics, red radiatior cover, with the gold rims. I find it attractive, lol. There are so many its hard to choose. Like the all yellow anniversery addition. But i guess those are my top. In canada, the orange and red ones are just dead sexy lol. I wish we had them in the us.
  9. Wheel's are much better than wheel spacers. Having a rim with the bolting area further inward, is better than extending the studs or spacing them out. The rim can at least sit plush against the hub. Also, why do you think aftermarket rims are so popular? Because they're offset. And tons of people run them. Yes, they add stress, and yes, it's not as good as a-arms, but they are a cheap fix for us do-it-yourselfers at home wanting more stability. The max ill ever get is maybe 5ft of air. Im pretty sure the balljoints can handle that with mixed trails in it. I ran flipped rims on my blaster for years. I feel much safer with aftermarket rims though. I don't know why, maybe just the sense that they're stronger that stock.
  10. The only difference between the aliens and 916's, is the 916's sound demonish Reallu wicked, like an f1 car. It doesnt change preformance. The preformance is all in the headpipes.
  11. Yeah, I heard the proX are pretty good. Just want to stay away from the brands like vitos, namura, wsm, etc. I would love to get the kit from rj, but don't have that much cash right now.. I saw a wiesco piston kit on ebay in the size I need for $110.00. Wanted to see if anyone on here had a new set they can sell me a little cheaper I dont need the gaskets right away, just want to get bored and pistons. Then gaskets when I get more money and my shee will run!
  12. oh, forgot, I want wiesco. Im staying away from namura, wsm, etc. Wiesco is known and trusted.
  13. Hey. im looking for a new banshee piston kit. need to be .060 over
  14. Banshee's are hogs.. When we go riding, my dads banshee alone sucks up about 7 gallons by the end of the day. Just bolt on mods with proper jetting too. it's crazy. But, like the saying goes, suckin gas and haulin ass
  15. off topic, but do you have a pic of your front end with the kfx shocks? Im curious how high it is with the 400 shocks. might have to do it myself.
  16. umm, jrod. You have your front end set up completely wrong. The upper arms are upside down and it looks way to close to the groungd
  17. around 125 give or take. Same goes for cbr600, gsxr600, etc. If you want to go crazy. r1's are around 150 same as cbr1000rr, gixxer 1000, etc
  18. they suck. 32hp. the banshee makes more stock. dont waste your time. i myself have the same motor down here. twin aircooled xs400 yami engine. find an r6 or some shit
  19. All I did was buy new bearings for the outsides. The one on the flywheel side has the o-ring, and the PTO side has a little nipple on it to keep it from spinning. So, does the clips on one side hold the crank while using the o-rings, or should I just use all the c-clips??
  20. thanks. we were looking at it, saying, well wtf holds the crank in place then? We figured maybe the o-ring sits in the slot somewhat, but i wanted to come on here to mae sure. Im very finicky about this stuff
  21. exactly my thoughts, thats why i posted in here. I wasnt quite sure why the bearings had o-ring on them?
  22. Are you guys sure? The crank wont move side-to-side then?
  23. Hey everyone. I once again have another question... I recently bought the crank bearings for my banshee to replace the old ones before re-assembly. We put them on, but I had a question. Where the bearing usually sits on the c-clip in the case, there is a rubber o-ring on the bearing. I was wondering If I just get rid of the o-rings and use the clips, or am I supposed to ditch the clips and use the o-rings instead..? Im assuming that I get rid of the o-ring and just use the c-clips. I need to know ASAP. thanks!
