If you compress the springs or a spring the top collar will slide down and behind it is a clip. that clip sits in a notch to hold it all together. pop that out and the collar and springs will slide up.

From what i read all you need to do is replace the existing HARD DRIVE with the new one and then you can format it.

If you love trails youll be all happy. you can put in a 12 hour riding day and not hit the same path twice and for me that starts 1/2 block from the house.
On the yfz450 setup the lower ball joints can be replaced for PC and the upper arms are billet and can be polished. just a thought if you ever go that direction.
I would drain the coolant and pull off the jugs for a better look. everything you need "info" is on this forum and most on here will help you threw your problems. a top end rebuild is not as bad as you may think.
What are the benefits of running a No link swingarm? i`v bin seeing them a lot lately and will be in the market soon for a swingarm but i`m not sure what way to go. any help would be cool.
