ok i went and bought a differnent compression tester and this one says im at 122. this isnt good. i think i have to tear the cool head off and make sure all the o rings sealed what do you think?

thanks man i think i throw some new plugs in it and runm it up and down the street a few times.

it a cheap compression tester the one you have to hold onto the daNG HOLE. and no i didnt hold the throttle open. ill test again ok i get 150 right on the button on both cylinders. how is that

its at 135 both cylinders. i might have pinched one. i guess ill pull it all apart and check it out. maybe a smaller dome. i have 20cc domes. i should proabaly change out my plugs.

seams like i have less power after the cool head insatll.help need to be crazy

i just installed a prodesign cool head with 20cc domes. and when i test road it when the power band hits it bogs out. why??? please help.

ok yesterday i installed a new cool head yesterday with 20cc domes. and i had my radiator cap off and started the bike up. and i didnt see any fluid moving in the radiator. does this mean my impeller took a huge dump on me or do i need to prime the thing first or what, please let me know. i dont want to blow up my motor i know it has liquid in it. but its just not flowing. my neighbor said that the thermostat hasnt opened. but i dont think the banshee has one of thoese. please help me out thanks.

how do i know if the crank is welded or not. when i satart to rev higher the shaking goes away a little bit. but at idel there is no shake.

at idel though. there is no vibration its only when i throttle. maybe its normal.

the higher i rev in nutral the more it vibrates. even my pipes are rattling

damm i have the same problem. been noticing that when i rev my bike now it shakes like im riding a dildo with a kick stand.. i just finished cleaning my carbs and noticed it now the most.how do i know if my crank is screwed. i just bought this bike 3 days ago and love it. its an 87 but damm its a banshee.

no this is my second two stroke. but im still new i bought a blaster a month ago for super cheap fixed it up and basically its my chics bike now. the banshee is my first real man bike. so yes the guy i got it from said it has been sitting for along time and it looked like it. but the motor is really strong. and the carbs on it are stock mic carbs so i took the one of the blaster and cleaned that one out so now its time for these. it has toomey pipes. not sure what series. the pipes on the front are jet black.

ok i just bought this 87 banshee two days ago that has been sitting for over a year . and i drained all the old gas out of it and put some new fuel in and after awhile of starting and dying it finally began to idel right and come to life. so after that it seams to run now. but in 1st and 2 gear its kind of slugish before it hits the power band then it flys. why is that. is that normal? this is my first banshee and i love it. so i want to do get this thing to soar!!and what is a good compresson to have on each cylinder/ im going to leak down the tranny oil . what would you suggest i replace it with? thank you
