had the same thing happen to my 96. the jam nut was striped out on mine, it would work for a few minutes then the nut would back it self off and lose the clutch tension. i put a new one on and rode it for a few minutes today seemed ok so far.

was wondering if anyone knew what the thread length and size was off the top of your head? broke one when putting the clutch back together ::. shitty part was i didn't even have it torqued yet. does anyone run stainless instead?

Yeah, there are removal kits. Most aftermarket catologs and mail order places carry them as well as ebay. Just look up tors removal kit for banshee.

That sucks, I hope you get it back and get the fuckers who took it. Like AWR said, I'm sure will see more and more of it going on with the tough economy. Hell just yesterday about noon working on my brothers garage 2 fuckers came down his alley and got out looking at his neighbors snowmobile. His neighbor had it up against his house, but they looked to see if it was chained up. My brother ran over and shagged them out of their. Hopefully they won't be back....

i've heard the cranberry juice before helps clean your kidneys out. just drink tons of fluids and should be alright unless on heavier stuff like someone previously stated. i passed one a few days after smoking but don't smoke it everyday. i just drink a bunch of fluids afterwards.

if no one has one, you should be able to get one cheap on ebay.

if everything checks out with in spec check your harness for a broken wire or bad plug end. that was the problem with mine. i just checked continuity using the wire/electrical schematic in clymers book.

my 96 had shit spark. tore the harness a part a few times, still shitty intermitent spark thought it was the cdi or coil. tested everything with a meter and continuity checked out good. hit some bumps and would get shit spark when riding. last time i tore it down i pulled on all the plug ends and one wire was broken in the plug for my key hook up so i just eliminated it and jumpered it out.

that sucks, i couldn't go either. been off of work for a few months and weather has been ok, get a great weekend to go ride and get called to go back to work. got to make the money when i can.

found some don't need any more.
