Those are your chain sliders more than likely still the stock ones. What you should do is order the aftermarket chain slider $35.00 and it eliminates the two top chain sliders and will last for the rest of the bikes life. I have it on my banshee and looks alot better. The chain should have around an inch of play when your sitting on the bike not when your off of it. But ofcourse that's what i heard. For a stock swingarm on your shee i think that should be about right. You don't want it to tight cause it will crack the motor case and you don't want that to happen cause you will be forking out some money.

I just got done shaving my front fenders the other day and i'm so glad i did it too. I'm thinking about shaving the rear too......What's the point in keeping them they don't do shit but look ugly.

anybody got there rear plastics shaved post them up i wanna see what some look like i'm thinking about doin the rear too.....

Took me some time to think it over and almost didn't do it but finally shaved the front fenders and i couldn't tell you how happy i was. Should have done it a long time ago.

I posted a pic of my carb but the deal is that a buddy of mine just bought a banshee and it leaks so much gas out this one hose coming off the carb. Anybody have an idea as of why?

The blueish color that forms on the smaller part of the pipe is suppose to be there. There pipes are nice but is said that when they turn that blue color is when the pipe is broke in and your getting the full power that the pipe is suppose to put out. As far as the chrome it will last forever as long as you take care of it and clean it after rides and make sure water and moisture isn't on it all the time.

Oooo ok ok well that's the first time i ever even heard of Paul Turner exhaust but didn't really know the background of em'. They sound like there a good pipe if your not thinking about just dragging all the time and just wanna trail ride. Anyway thanks for the response!

Anybody use this kind of muffler? Somebody told me about them the other day and i have never heard of them.

Damn that's crazy see mine didn't do anything but i finally noticed it was fucked up and changed it.

I probably use SOS pads more on my banshee than i do in my house... :biggrin:

Thanks for the help everyone i finally finished it tonight and everything is in pecking order. Runs good i like how it eliminated all that bullshit on top of the carbs.

hahaha i know exactly what you mean, once you get to a point where your tired and just wanna relax we just sit around and talk about 4 wheelers, what the next mod is, why do this or that....Nothing beats that.

Changed out the old sprocket, as you can see i was really lucky that it didn't throw the chain off and crack my block. So i changed the front sprocket and got a new rear sprocket. Here is the new rear sprocket, i can't believe how light they are compared to the stock sprocket. Got a new chain while i was at it too.

Yeah cause i know if i take my stock lid box cover off my K&N is loos cause it's not clamped down. I'd watch out for that if i were you.

I haven't seen a Shee in a dealership around here in a long long time. I don't think they have ever kept them stock but kinda works out in the long run for me that way i'm not lockjaw everytime i walk in the cycle shop.
