  1. So where do you ride this time of year?
  2. Ya that's pretty well what I figured. I've heard several different stories from locals. I'm got an offload sticker for my 450 just by walkin in and buyin it. Now everybody wants titles and bills of sale to prove proof of ownership. What a pita for a guy just movin.
  3. Elk thing must be a winter deal. I've heard that about the snow. That would suck ass. What kind of registration do you have to ride out there?
  4. Hell you're pretty close. I've been to st ants once. Couple years ago. Pretty bad ass. When does it warm up enough to head over there? I remember smthn about elk migration or some crap too.
  5. So anybody in this area? Pretty depressed about the amount of bikes I see out here. Back in Illinois cl was full of banshees and parts. I know there as to be some out here. Guessing everybody loves em. So who's out here?
  6. Nope don't think I've ever been on there.
  7. Thought about gettin rid of the wife's coupe and my old convertible to get one of those in a convertible. Don't have her talked into it yet though. Haha
  8. Where's it at in washington and how big is it?
  9. I'd prob b interested in a bling star copy for my ltr. I talked to jd about it a while back and he was game. But I got busy with other crap and didn't get to follow through with it. He makes some cool shit though. Stuff keeps getting better and better. I'm sure he can whip these out. Especially if demand is up.
  10. Where u goin to school at? How close are ya to Boise?
  11. Reason I ask is I got hosed on a couple sets of pumpers trying to find gravity carbs. Those look like pumpers. No nipple for a bowl vent and the fuel inlets are pointing down. I'm going to guess there is no standpipe for a vent in the bowl, the vent holes on tops of the floats probably have metal inserts that reduce their size. Mine had removable seats also but the hole was way smaller than the gravity ones I have now .
  12. Can we get a pic of the carb with the bowl off and a pic of the inside of the bowls?
  13. If I was gonna buy an older bike I think I'd go with the LTR over a YFZ. My buddy is still ridin an '04 and I hate that thing. Just as fast as my LTR but the supension sucks ass. Stupid 2x4 of a seat has crushed my nuts more than once goin through the woops. This Suzuki jusst cruizes through the same stuff. FI is nice for a trail bike too.
  14. Damn wish I woulda seen this few days ago. Just bought a couple trucks new for more than your asking for all three of these. Woulda liked to had these. Good luck with the sale.
  15. I've got older spindles and hubs on my pile. Don't know if there's a difference between them and the newer ones though. There are a few differences with mine. Tie rod location I think is pushed further out.

    YFZ Shocks

I've got a set. I think they are off an 05. Springs are powdered gloss black. Bodies are painted a textured black/silver flake kinda deal. They're still on my bike buried in my trailer. I could get better pics if interested.
  17. Looks clean man. I like it.
  18. So.....I'm thinkin those are height adjustable butt peg holes to keep u from slidin off. Correct me if I'm wrong. Lot more innovative than the plain ol hump on the back.
  19. Well looks like you have some nice stuff, good luck with the sale. Maybe by the time you get your sand bike built I'll have my junk unloaded outa the trailer and we can do some draggin.
  20. Looks like I'm a little late to this party. Damn. Didn't know u were parting it out. Guess I should pay lil more attention. So am I the only banshee left in Boise?
  21. Cam if I was closer I'd let ya do some testing with mine. I did talk to Brandon at Wildcard about possibly doin some testing this winter. Not sure how serious he was.
  22. Don't mess with the brake line from the master cylinder. Tighten it and don't mess with it. As jacked up as I sounds like you have it you might try and gravity bleed it. Crack the bleeder on the caliper and let it run into a catch pan. Keep the master cylinder full. That'll flush out any old crap too. After doin that for a bit bleed it like the other guy said. If you can't get it to pump up you can try and crack the bleeder, push the pedal down, till it stops, then close the bleeder, let up on the pedal and repeat. You just want to make sure you don't let up on the pedal at anytime while the bleeder is open. You'll suck air back into the system. Which is what you're trying to get out.
  23. Always ran pods. Never had much luck with airflow with the stock airbox. Got pods or variation of on banshee, ltr, and the blaster. Never had an issue on any of em.
  24. Man what happened? Wife latch on to your 450 and quit ridin it? Sweet little bike. Wish I wasn't in the middle of movin I'd snatch up some of that stuff. Good luck on it.
  25. How bout RotellaT? The diesel stuff 15-40. Lot of the 450 guys swear by it, hell of a lot cheaper too. Buy it at walliworld.
