  1. What brand is that? How big is it? That looks like it would clear my lonestar steering stem.
  2. I make mine outa schedule 40 steel pipe. Forget the size though. Cut to fit.
  3. Pm sent
  4. Lookin for any trades for those pipes and silencers?
  5. Ya that looks basackwards and maybe not big enough of a spread between em. I'm thinkin the same as coupe.
  6. Im pretty excited about riding out there. Looks like good stuff. It'll most likely be a while though. Just have to see what happens.
  7. Ya it's that far here to St Anthony for me. Same deal. Except I don't tent camp anymore. That blows. Haha. I'm movin to the Portland area though so I'll be closer to your stuff. Looks like some good riding.
  8. Got the flywheel. Looks good. Thanks man.
  9. Ya I missed that part. Ive spent a good 4-5 days straight riding my turd now with shorts and riding boots. No burn marks on the pipes. You aren't 5'2" are ya?
  10. U drive down to ride in Oregon?
  11. Inframe or oof?
  12. 3.25 turns on the air screw is past the point of doing anything. Sounds like your pilots are too big. How are you tuning the air screw? Did you ever tell is what parts are in this thing?
  13. Snop says they're the best ever. He was runnin tree shots in your area too.
  14. Can you shorten that up? I found it a hard read.
  15. Ya damn kids anyway
  16. Ya a smart guy woulda done that. But he didn't have a new one so I thought we'd give it a whirl. He was wantin to ride so I took a shot. I spun everything from the backside but shoulda pulled the w/p cover. Kinda f'd that one up. But we didn't run it enough to hurt it and he got just a little seat time so he knows what it feels like.
  17. I saw those. Wondered if anybody was running one yet. I could use a few of em on my bikes for the mountain rides we do. And duning too for that matter. Buy one up and tell us how good they are.
  18. Bad cap is something I hadn't thought about. New ones are pretty cheap too. We filled it then ran it. It spewed as expected. Then it would eventually spew again. If u run it cold with the cap off there's little to no movement in the radiator. Then after a while we'd get a big blast and we'd have to shut it off. Then you can here it percolating like its steaming. That's why I was thinking it needs an impeller. Thought about head gasket but it doesn't blow all the time. It'll build up then blow, then repeat. Like it gets hot. We let it cool, and try it again. We bled the screws on the jugs too but it didn't help.
  19. Dont think we're lean. Plugs looked good and he barely rode it. I think the stock impeller is prob junk. Hopefully we get that replaced it'll clear a lot of the issues up. Been so long since I've messed with a bone stock bike, I forgot how crappy the cooling system is.
  20. Those little money pit four wheelers are almost as bad as the big ones. We went through 3 little quads before we ended up with the blaster we have now. Pipes, porting, carbs, clutch work. My kid loved that shit. Still does. Finally got his blaster to a place where he'd rather ride it than his moms z400 in the dunes. Kids and there bikes. Gotta love em
  21. Ya that ain't gonna hurt anything.
  22. There's a wanted section......
  23. The thing you'll find about the stealership guys is they usually are all about the stock stuff. If you start getting much past the way a bike looks when it comes out of the crate alot of those guys don't have a clue.
  24. I've ran plain ol motor oil, ATF, type f, 80w trans lube, 15w40 diesel oil, etc. Your clutch has to be pretty jacked up for one of those fluids to screw it up. You're better off with a specific trans/clutch fluid for the piece of mind. Some of the 4 stroke guys swear by the diesel oils. If they can run it in the entire engine we can run it in our trans. And most of that is pretty cheap.
