your bike is a 2005 you said which means it had/has a parking brake safety switch on it. There is a yellow/green wire coming out of the cdi box which goes to that switch make sure it is disconnected and not grounded out anywhere. bike will not rev if it is grounded

for those of you who dont have a built in tank (like me) you can just grab a boat tank from walmart and use it. I have it set up with quick connects as well and can run either 1 or both of my generators off of it. Its well worth the effort to set up.

Actually not true. It is easier if 1 of them is the companion then all you need are simple patch cords. However there are several kits available that allow you to hook up 2 or even 3 of the eu2000i together. I boought 2 of the eu2000i many years ago before the companion model was available and i have a parallel kit that works great. Great little units, build yourself and extended run tank and you can run all week and never fill up.
