    yeah, I run it pretty hard when I ride it and its got a bunch of compression and timing so its gets pretty hot but, I still think it should last longer then that. I wish I could find some of the stainless packing that they use in race car stuff, Like the magnaflows and borla's have.

    yeah, It just doesn't seem to last very long. This last time I ordered it from the CPI people, this spring and its been blown out for a couple of months. I have probably only been out 6-8 times with it.

    Cpi's for sand and drag, or pro circuits for all around. Thats about it. I have had CPI's on mine since it was stock, and love them, but I like to ride dunes and drag some too. Friend of mine has FMF SST's and they seem to be a real good pipe also, I'm just not a fan of the toomey's.......I guess it all depends on what his future plans are for the bike... :cool:

    Has anyone ever tried anything different then what you buy in a packing kit? I was thinking of steel wool, maybe last a little longer??? I have CPI in frames and need to re-pack pretty often, and don't really like them without packing. Anyone use something that works for a while longer??? Thanks BHQ

    How many balls did you use? anything need to be done to the factory center hub?

    Do you run them on your drag motors? What about the inertia to help get the bike moving without slowing the crank down? Has anyone tested it back to back to notice the difference on HP or ET? I am thinking about having mine done but would like to know the advantages and dis-advantages.

    Sorry don't have the exhaust pictures, but there are many ports over there, and required welding on that side also. This was all done before the Cub era.

    X's 2 I belive the same on drag ported stock cylinders as well. I just recently went from about +3 to +7, and wow! So now its at +9 :biggrin: LOL. Just check the heat on the strap of the plug and let it rip!
