    your 4mill should be a damn close if you have a good port bigger carbs and a set of cpi or shearers... what is your current setup?

    i raced a crf450 and got smoked too!!!!! however on my yfz450 we exchanged wins a few times that was with quite a few mods against a stock dirtbike. i think it would take porting, carbs and the usual just to beat a stock one. oh and of course traction is key.

    i beat ltrs on the sand but it was usually close and i had similar mods to you. there are just too many variables to be certain. but like dave said get your cylinders ported and then you can talk all the shit you want!!!

    thanks for the responces guys. i think i will do some shopping but i have seen these guys's work and it is good quality and like kaotik1 said ya get what ya pay for.... thanks again fellas i felt like i spent too much for my frame and brake calipers so i didnt wanna get screwed.

    yeah they are rebuilable but its not cheap i think its like 200 plus just for the service and like 400 for the dual rate spring kit.

    ok so i called my powdercoater about powdercoating a +2 roundhouse swingarm and they said it would be about 90 to 135 bucks. is that fair? oh and it is just gonna be gloss black so nothing special.

    i didnt get them to work i havent installed them yet... i dont want to send them back and deal with a buch of shipping charges especially since i have not tryed them myself. thats why i am thinking about the noss rods then i can make those as a back up set in the future. :shrug:

    if you guys were riding some tight trails it could be that. when i had mine in some tight trails with the jetting spot on it would still overheat because not enough air is passing through the radiator. :shrug:

    i havent got a chance to try and put them on due to my lack of a steering stem... but i might just pick up a set of noss tie rods anyways they are lighter, will be the right length and they are pretty cheap dont get much betta than that!
