For some reason I was thinking he was talking about the brass tube in the carbs itself.Only one carb has that tube.I just pulled the bowls on my stockers and the bowls both have the tubes. BAM! those are the overflows.

stock carbs usually only have the tube on one side.at least mine did. I wonder what carbs you are running to have the tube on both sides.

welcome to the HQ dude. All you have to do is call Kevin at HJR and get her rebuilt. Or you can call who ever you want. I would recommend a good port job,a nosshead,and some nice carbs.Put your timing up a few dagrees and bam.You'll love it.

the pilot jet is smaller and up in a little hole.You need a small flat screwdriver to remove it. I bet its clogged.

we usually go to Buttercup. Sometimes Gordons. Cinders up in Flagstaff is okay,just dusty as hell.

whens the last time you pulled your carbs and cleaned the jets? Could just have dirt in the pilot circuit.

sounds like you have everything covered.Have you thought about welding your crank?Turn around time for HJR is really quick.Not sure on FAST how busy he is.
