Get a set of pipes taylored more towards your riding style. Shearers and CPI are more of a drag top end pipe. T5's are a great all arpipe and the fmf's and pro circuits are a good low mid pipe. Ive always had that slight bog in the lowend also. Some say it notorious and just the way it is. Being a 2 stroke it doesnt have that lowend grunt like a 4 stroke. Ive just learned to feather the throttle. Mabey this new setup will be different but theres been many many threads like this asking the same Q's. Some people have a real technical answer some say it is what it is. LOL.

I ran a cascade 2-1 setup with a 38mm carb, t5's,+4 timing, agressive dune port,coolhead w/20cc domes, and a k&n pod. I loved it. Even though i never had it perfectly dialed in "whatever perfectly is?" I still really liked the way it performed and ran compared to my flatslide keihin 28's I had prior on the same motor.

Actually the one piece heads have a small notch in them that the dome will sit in and allow u to put the head on very easily. Like I mentioned theres many opinions on heads and everyone has there favorite and everyone has one they dislike. No need to give false info about the ones that are disliked though.

yup. I have a kit available to use with the airbox. Comes with a billet adaptor plate, K&N with an outerwear. $100 shipped. Or if you dont run an airbox I have pods with outerwears or a used 2 into one toomey filter setup. U can use a K&N or a foam filter. Lots of options. Shoot me a pm and I can get you hooked up. I think there a great investment. You can add one at anytime. The domes you run depend on your elevation all your mods and the type of fuel you choose to run. I have the modquad one piece head on mine and also carry them. I have a great package deal for members with head, domes, orings and acorn nuts. 4 colors to choose also. The one piece head uses the stock studs and offers 335 more coolent capacity which in turn means better cooling and better performance. You will get alot of opinions on this topic as well as a few modquad haters. In my opinion most of the one peice heads are all very very similar. The pro design is a 2 piece and some argue they are the best. If you do go with a pd head you will need to buy special studs since the stock ones wont work. they run about $35-$40. Its all a matter of choice and opinion really. I have always ran one and have never had a problem with it. Hit me up anytime.

Vitos has a 115mm rod 4mm crank. there trued and welded and have polished rods. I just put one in my bike im building. There a great price as well. Im a dealer for them so of course Im going to run it for two reasons, one the price, two to back up all the talk on the Vitos haters. lol. I also have a totally other crank option now to. Cant seem to get much on the statistics but there made in the USA, and are t/w, look very nice and are even a better deal than the Vitos. I plan on running a few before I start caring them. Pipes, advance the timing +4, if its a dune bike ditch the airbox and get some pods. If its a trail bike ditch the lid and get a breathable lid. After that coolhead, port job, carbs. You can also put on one of the Vitos superstock piston kits I carry for a cheap noticeable HP gain. Its a alternitive to porting if funds dont allow for a full blown port job. I think there great personally and have installed many of them. I can hook you up with all the stuff you need or help you get a plan on the way you want to build your bike.
