  1. i looked at the tdr big bore sleaves any one used the 75mm and to what result? and if i was going to run a stroker crank would i need to raise the barrels as well?

  3. ok..sohow much do u have to cut the domes...and do i "'need'' 759 pistons..as i have pretty brand new ones in there already. pro x and by port timming do u mean machine the exuaght ports to match the top of the piston when it is bdc? thanks
  4. ok so i was fortunate enuf to get a 4mm crank ..now just after some help setting it up...is it easier/better to use a spacer or mill the domes? also i plan to run a 2-1 carb set up which i have already..my barrels are at a hight stage tune already any idea on card set up? thanks?
  5. ok..so does this mean i could just change the rod length..say if i was rebuilding a crank from scratch? ie i know rd400 crank is 4mm longer but has same piston size as a banshee? and i would assume it would be better to use a bace plate as to keep ur piston lined up with the exaust port? and am i correct in saying that the displacement of the engine includes the crank case as this is the area/below the piston/ that increases in volume? thanks..
  6. hey ive heard a bit about strokin engines..but not sure how it works,,as far as i can work out ..by changing the lenght /stroke of the crank u increase the cc of the engine?? can any one shed more light on the subject..ie what size cranks give what cc and what else is needed and how eficient it is..thanks..

  9. im lookin at a up grading engine..i was wondering if a vito404 kit would make more /same/less performance then a rz350 conversion as well as a cub 392 thank u..

  13. well i have a bit of a different set up..he he..at the risk of not being taken seriously. i ride a cagiva mito with an rz 350..i currently run a rd350lc which is a earlier modle from yam basically has no pvs..the rz has better power all round but the rd engine is way more fun with a light switch power band..at about 55hpr i also like the non maintainence of no pv. i like the thought of running the rz engine as it is a better design and has the benifit of lots of newly devoloped parts from his lil brother banshee..but in saying that i dont really feel like spending $2k on an engine that performs the same as the 2 i have..i was lookin also at the vito kit..it seems cheeper..and what iv heard more usable..this is a road bike which i ride on the street,i will also use it for track days and new era 2 gp racing.so ive turned to the proffessionals in banshees ..u guys..tp give me the low down the performance of my bike is about 210kmpr 55hp-60hp at 120kgs wet thanks for ur info guys http://s36.photobucket.com/albums/e47/twin...nt=100_0183.jpg
  14. hey guys im new and have a question..im in australia and have next to no info on cub, vito, cheetah etc kits except for what the web site ads say,,i would like to know what kinda comparison an rz350 engine would have firstly to a stock banshee and to a non pv cub kit say 400cc thanks
