  1. Yeah....this is pretty funny!!!!! I do not think they noticed that this post is over a year old.....lol!!
  2. Well...not to start anything here.....but either there was a very inexperienced rider on the suzuki 450, or something else was wrong. Or the YFZ450 was not stock at all. Between a modded lt-r450 and a stock yfz450....the yfz does not have a chance. Between you banshee and the lt-r450......unless your banshee has some good porting, pipes, etc and very well tuned......the modded suzuki will usually still win. Believe me when I say I am not bagging on the YFZ450....they are killer bikes and can be made VERY fast. But in stock trim, they will not touch a modded lt-r450. I had the cheapest mods available on my lt-r450 "pull the spark arestor, cherry bomb module, pro design filter kit", and had no problem keeping up and or beating most of my buddies ported, piped, carbed, banshees. And unless any yfz450's I raced were piped, jetted, intake, cdi......they wouldnt have a chance. Like I said.....I'm not trying to start anything here.....and everyone on here know I am a banshee man.....but you cannot mess with a good running, even slighty modded lt-r450.

  6. Well...here goes my .02! Its difficult to say which is the better wheelie machine due to each persons description of fun wheelies. If its dumping the clutch to ride low rpm intended wheelies, then chart 2 and 3 would be the way to go. If you like riding and allowing the power band to pull the front end up, then chart 1 would be the winner. My thoughts are that chart 1 is a dual carb setup. I say this because of the power jump from 7k to 8800 rpm. Its appears to be when the motors rpm vs. fuel/air intake actually begin to create power. I also say this due to the lack of lower rpm power. charts 2 and 3 show a smoother power in the lower rpm range and flaten out quickly due to the lack on air/fuel to rpm range. Single carb setups usually tend not to create hi rpm power due to limited intake openning, thus "choking" the motor. I have bikes with both single and dual carb setups and must say I enjoy single carb setups due to the faster throttle response and smoother lower range power. I may be way off.....I cant wait to see the results!!!! Am I anywhere near the truth hear????
