Great, ordering it later on after supper. This is a stupid question but i have to ask. Can someone please look at this picture and tell me if the a-arms are on the correct sides. There isnt much shock clearance although it will never hit. If i put that bottom a-arm on the other side it wont seem right. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/DSC02071_zpsbbesotx4.jpg

For those who have fireball racing arms: Has anyone tried the pivot works bearings/bushing kit? I removed the rubber plugs on the lower a-arms but the bearings do not go in. I used my caliper to measure it and it's a good .005-.010" different even after taking the powder coating off the inside of the arm with my dremel's wire wheel. It seems ill have to hit it with some very fine sand paper to take some metal out for the bearings to fit unless it's a press fit. If it's a press fit, ill bring it somewhere.

Unexpected post. but thanks and yes! very fun when working lol. Going back auto in a few days if things work out. but that's another story. So with that, i do NOT need 2 oil seals? ( oem part number 93112-31011-00 )

clutch cover looks hideous. fender/radior mount looks like shit. I may pull it and bring to powder coater. Totally forgot about some things. I am using an exploded view to assemble the bike since the guy who has my parts to press in bearings has my clymer as a reference. not much done. but here ya go: http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/DSC02070_zpshdnf1cnm.jpg I should be able to do the front suspension minus hubs/wheels/brakes tomorrow. I will hold off with the pipes since i have to slide the engine bolts out to put bushing in when they come in later next week. I also have to bring my radiator to the hardware store and try to find some sort of gromet. I think i seen on HQ facebook's group people use sheet metal gromets. I shall see. i thought i ordered an LED brake light. Not sure. Not sure if i drank too much tonight either. tomorrow is a new day. edit. I need to clean my fuel tank out and figure out a way to secure the back to bolts. They stripped out years ago. that's not good. Never caused a problem though.

Engine in and steering stem in. Both partially. I need to order some OEM bushing and some crap for the steering stem clamp up top. I can't find them nor remember that they look like. Makes me think I haven't had those in my bike since my 2009 frame up rebuild. I'm going to shop around tomorrow evening and see which OEM vendor is cheaper. Toy fund is low right now.

Well damn. I cant be upset, there's no way ima use all of the power mine will make anyways. I'm more about power delivery so ill see how mine feels then see. I dont understand dyno curves if someone were to compare. I had Cameron explain to me over the phone what it would do and feel like. From what i understand, the 521s pull hard down low. So ill probably be dragging some cummins trucks all over town soon.

If the alloy boltz sets are the same length, i can mic them.

Dont knock it till you try it.

Confirmed in chat by race.ride live or whatever his name is. I dropped off the stuff a couple hours ago. Hopefully he finishes by tomorrow night or I won't get much done in the bike this weekend. I am getting some exhaust rape from oriellys tomorrow while at work. I seen it done on Fb. I'm trying to protect my filters and plastics just in case. I'm not sure how good of a clearance SFBB shearers have.

Will do. I hope my turbo chassis swing arm uses OEM bearings on the front
-
OK thanks. I didn't remove it, my powder coater did because I forgot to. I'll review my Clymer for lunch to see if any more needs to be pressed in. I don't want to have something surprise me during my assembly this weekend
-
Ill see. I wont get it now, i have other things to take care of before then to make it rideable. As for as bearing, are there any more bearings that need to be pressed in besides the front hub. I beat those 4 bearings out before it went to the powder coater. I'm going drop them off at a local place to have them pressed in. Anything else i should bring? I know there's a bearing on the frame where the bottom of the steering stem is but ill just beat that in with a big socket or c-clamp.

Fat 1 1/8'' bars or standard 7/8''?

That's good to know. I actually did mine when trouble shooting a float height issue in one of my carbs years ago. -

I just had my old anodized gas cap powder coated. If that didnt work, i was going to go with a stock one and do like you did. It worked well for me in the past. -
At least he didn't send you nudes.

Heck, just do a big bore too while you are at it. 521 and make 10 more hp all over the curve. Enough tq on pump to get your old john deere unstuck.Youll get more titties flashed ya than we do down here for mardi gras. At least tha'ts what redline told me.

I got back from the powder coater with more parts a little while ago with a few more things http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/DSC02057_zpsmapohkgw.jpg I also set up some tables yesterday with parts laid out to better sort through things: http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/DSC02062_zpswcvogtpb.jpg http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff111/raguncajun/DSC02060_zpsx30hogjv.jpg I believe the powder coater will finish the rest tomorrow. He forgot the 5 gallon bucket of misc things(footpegs, spindle(knuckle) etc). He was pretty upset he didnt have it all but i brought him so much crap and put it all over creation so it's not his fault. Assembly will start this weekend. I still have to buy a 3 piece stator cover with bearing support from Chariot Racing, Brembo rear caliper from Cuervo Racing, and some radiator hoses. Those will come in the next 2-4 weeks. On the way in 2-3 days is a white fullbore front hood scored off someone from the banshee hq FB group.

That's good stuff man. Hopefully if the oil field picks up then i can get more serious with racing and toss my whipple for a turbo.

Jesus Christ 106....

That sucks health insurance doesnt cover it. I bet if you were a porch monkey, you would get it for free.

I don't see how a few thousand is gonna help a 100k bill. Keep the bike
