  1. has is blown up or started leaking water or oil out of it because the thing is junk!!! Or is it just so bad ass everyone just sits and looks at it while they drink their beers saying yup that dang ole thing is fast man!!
  2. that blasters are pretty damn cheap and the motor is probably taken from someone's street bike!!
  3. bansheezone.com has done it and shows some pics. I am also going to do a J arm conversion on my buddies banshee, and i will probably be doing it with in the next two weeks if your willing to wait I will post some pics of the job and what it takes me to do it.
  4. I would have to agree with everyone else its probably your jetting what do your plugs look like?
  5. I wish there were still some pics of it on here
  6. Ok im looking for a crank and cylinders and the way i see it if i have to buy a crank i should stroke it!! So anyone out there with some good stuff thats not on its last bore?
  7. I think a minus 2 is to short for me
  8. I know the stock set up sucks i had mine weld the ball to the clutch arm and has to split the cases to fix the problem It was a use pain in the ass. So if you are wondering if its worth it Ill say hell yes its worth every penny if nothing else it makes the bike a little more reliable in my eyes.
  9. From all the years i have been worken on bikes and cars, I think thats a bad idea. You should try to get you bike to run pretty well with the stuff you have because just throwing parts at your problem may compound your problem and you will have no base to go back to because you have changed so much already. I would go with the other guy and look at your jetting!
  10. Honestly I wish I had the time to call people and get there two cents on this subject and their point of views on things, but I work 6 days a week 12 hour plus days so when i get off work almost everyone is closed and when i get up no one is open, and i am sure many of you understand when you finally have time off you dont want to be spending it on the phone, plus not many shops are open on sundays. Thats one of my issus, that is why i come to this forum because I know all of you people love banshees and many of you have port jobs and know who you like to deal with rather then getting screwed by a shop i just up and pick. To be honest with you the passion guy really helped me about 8 months ago on a different forum and he gave me a lot of informate on the net which doesn't happen very often at all. The only thing is im just curious of power because if I have to spend and extra 300 or 400 bucks ill do it to get something that is done right from the start rather then save 300 or 400 and being stuck with junk forever. If I got my bike ported and didnt like how the work was done you pretty much stuck with it and I know I couldnt just sell some cylinders to someone that I wasn't happy with myself.

  12. Well if say i had no price rang to spend who is the best in your eyes. I am sure there are a lot of great people but does anyone of them have the crown for being the best??
  13. I find that sort of odd because i never have had any sort of problem pulling them the bike handles very nicely in the sand and it doesn't seem like they are killing my quad. To be really honest with you i love the way they work and when im duning i can brake them loss whenever i want to. You may be right my bike is no drag bike by any means and it is just a bolt on a go sort of set up but i really enjoy the power that it has. First things first i dont want a drag bike. I just want to beat my buddy and banshee's have always seemed fast. Maybe it has something to do with the height of the rider i only way about 160 too. But i do trust what your saying because i never have riden a cub or trex or anything in that sort. My bro has a trinity IV porting on it and i really am not impressed with it to be honest with you guys.
  14. I have a hinson clutch basket and a parnet clutch with swings. The bike is a ATV you know a three wheeler thats why it is really light. So no expected hp ratings? and i also have a shifting star in my bike im not sure how much it helps but im sure it does some. And in the sand i run 10 cup haulers and they have always worked well as for regular ridding i have some turf tamers on it now. Thanks for the help everyone and do you know if any of the builder you listed have a custom program for my dyna to run with their motors?
  15. yup all you should need is a seal kit and some sort of rvt for the cases. To be honest the banshee is the easiest motor i have ever worked on when it comes to a quad. It just opens right up, but you will need to get a fly wheel puller but im sure you already know that. Why didn't you get your cases port matched to your cylinders if you dont mind me asking?
  16. im looking for a stock or minus 1 swing arm with a round housing also a carries and brake bracket would be nice anyone got one?
  17. The reason the tiger is not really well known is because atcs were made then gone in about 3 years. I mean fast race atc's The tiger was probably the fastest trike ever made and yes they did make a 250 version of it. The reason two bikes were never the same is probably because all of the pipes for them were hand rolled and hand made. Honestly i would have to compair these things to the cannondale way ahead of their time, but never really caught on. You have to love the atc's without them theer would have been no quads. Look at the r and d that came from the 250r that moved right over to the quad and really wasn't changed a whole lot through the years. I guess the banshee has to thank the RZ's and RD's for there R&D to bad all of them love to detune motors going into quads!!!!!
  18. My friend has a 250r yeah i said honda as you guys grown the thing is pretty quick. The worst thing about it is that its an atc so its really light. I wont bang on hondas even though i love my banshee but most of you must agree that the 250r is a nice bike and makes pretty good power plus it is a 2 stroke so you have to give it that considering there are not many out there anymore. So, this is my issue he has a 310 esr kit on it with a full on drag port out of frame drag pipe rad valve 40.5 carb cr ignition, and a open air K&N set up. I am not sure the hp on it but the damn thing has some torque and its light. I want to beat him and i am on a buget. My mods are as fallows cool head 18cc domes in it, t5's delta force 2's pro design boost bottle dyna ignition and light flywheel with a timing plate, and a pro flow from prodesign. My next step i want to take is either a 4mil motor or a really good port job. The two main places i have been looking are K&T and Passion. I have heard nothing but great things from bother. From what it seems both are well respected in these forums also. My only problem is that i only have about 1000 to spend at this time. Considering porting will run around 600 plus i want to put a new set of pistons in the bike while im at it because my ulta lites have more then a few hours on it. Is any one selling and parts from either one of these companies or do they have any other suggestions on what i might do. I really would like to have an extra part of cylinders because i have enother banshee on its stock bore, but one cylinder needs a sleave and the crank is junk someone ran no mix in the bike. Last question is around what hp rang do you get from a 4 mil or a stock 350 on a solid port job running regular race gas? Thanks for your time everyone.
  19. its faster and its a power valve motor!!
  20. This is my problem and i have seen it done but I would like a few more pic of it. I am a pretty good welder arc, mig, and tig. I have a pipe bender, you know the one with a jack and a few dies, and about 3 feet of tube also some flat metal. Since, this isn't on my bike that i am doing it on I want to make sure i do a very good job on it. From what i have seen the lower a arm is all the same and the upper top mount is used to line up the new a arm bracket. I looked at a guys she on the Bansheezone.com and he showed his install and it honestly doesn't look very hard. I just wanted to know if anyone else has done it and if they have any pointers to give. Thanks for your time and i hope my post isn't just a repeat of an older one.
