  1. Glad you got it fixed man, now have fun with it.
  2. Heli-coil is your best bet. Take out old stud, drill hole, tap, insert coil, and install new stud. Your all set.
  3. I MAY need the cylinders and pistons by this weekend. Dont need the head. Ill let you know..
  4. Yea, pull the cylinders. If its piston slap, get it bored and new pistons now. If you continue to ride, your gonna be breaking skirts and doing more damage then you want.
  5. Stagger them, kinda like this o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o If you see what i mean. What tires are you studding?
  6. Could be piston slap, bad rod berings, wristpin, main beairings. Lots of things.
  7. Just be careful, as previously stated, make sure all the crap is outa the plug. Maby spray it down with some starting fluid to wash it out
  8. Another thing there good for is trailering. My fenders flap like reeds when were on the highway. That should help that
  9. I dont mind working on it one bit in the garage, its on the trail that i dont want to be working. I rebuild blaster motors as a side job so mechanical stuff isnt an issue. Keep them coming
  10. Get some newer used ones on ebay, or make ur own. Its not too hard
  11. I am dying to get a banshee. I have a possible banshee lined up for cheap, but my dad dosent want another 2-stroke in our home. He thinks thats its going to blow up everytrip, and ill always going to be getting towed home. The banshee will be either stock or stock with t5's. Are they really that much of a problem? Im good with maintence(any tips) How long between rebuilds(general idea, i run 24-1) And the gas milage is another problem. How much riding can i expect on a stock tank? Getting a bigger tank is possbile. Thanks in advance
  12. Ive never had a liqui cooled. Is the impreller a common problem or somthing?
  13. Yea, one between the boot and cage and one between the cage and cylinder. Edit: you beat me to it
  14. Ive herd that there sometimes a little rough getting on but once there on they do look really nice
  15. Well they are very thin, so some light will shine through, but i never herd about small holes. My boyesens dont have them, i had them out today. Someelse would know better
  16. My mom dumped my 2-stroke in the lawnmower. Smoked a tad but ran fine. She filled the full tank with yamalube 24:1
  17. Im gonna need cases and a crank possibly. How much for the cases? Did anything happen to them when the tranny went?
  18. Motor cases? How much shipped to 19440 PA
  19. I need the cases? Did anyhting happen to them when the crank twisted? How much shipped to 19440 PA
  20. Ok, first start your motor and let it get up to operating temeprature. This will get you up to the compression you have when the piston is expanded and everythings hot. Then pull one plug and screw the tester in. Turn killswitch off, give it full throttle, and kick untill it levels of. Then take it out and put the plug back in, then repeat for the other side. I prefer to leave the other plug in so nothing gets sucked in or falls in. Its only a little harder to kick.
  21. Yup, there all interchangable.
  22. Ahh, polish them bad boys up and thell look real good. lol Everyone i know uses hose clamps
  23. Yes it is. Pull the petcock out and clean the screens. Theres one for regular and one for reserve.
  24. I have some renthal twinwalls on my blaster. I like them alot, but i wish they were a little higher too.
  25. ^^^ Thats the best way to go without buying another swinger. I dont like the extenders. There fine in a strait line and off some jumps, but there not structualy strong enough to handle bad landings like landing on your side or landing crooked. I would just have someone good to do the stock swinger if your only going 2-4 inches
