I have a clymers and have split a few cases like a little xr 80 and a blaster. I just don't want to skru up. But a banshee case looks ez to split.

Do you guys think i could split the case on my banshee? I have all the tools to do it and know how to do it. What happened was i bent a shift fork and need to replace it. What do you guys think. Thanks

It might look good but i weighs a shit lode and it is like pc you have to re-tap every hole. But i think the rhino lining wood just fill the holes so it wood be drilling them out then re-taping the holes. sounds like a pain in the ass to me

Wen i had that single carb i ran a 155 main with needle at the first clip. But i also had the 35mm carb.

Well my banshee keeps fouling the right plug at a idle or wen i am running at low RPM's but wen i hit the gass it picks up and starts running a gin. Also wen i am at i idle wen i rev it the right side dos not run but wen i let off it will run till the RPM's level off then stops. I have 35mm Keihin PWK's 158 Main 48 Pilot Air skews 1 1/2 turn out Needle 2ed clip Whats wrong with my shee??

Cut them it lets you see a lot better and its less weight. :biggrin:

Ok well i am pretty ster that powder coat will stick. Hell i think it will stick to any thing.

I have hear that t-5 make more power than the t-6 and the t-5 look nicer. I plan on getting a set or t-5 this winter. T have heard that the t-5 is a better pipe. So thats what I'm getting.

That swinger looks like it was chromed? I wood not power coat if the person that welled it used a Tig it wont or should not rust. So just polish it back up and run it. p.s if it is chromed it will need re chromed or powder coated

O ya thats a good deal i Wood buy it before some one els dos. The top end should last a few year depending on how much you ride. Banshee take a little more work than 4 strokes because they vibrate nuts and bolts louse. :thumbsup: Now Go Buy Your Banshee :biggrin:

My banshee had stock pistons and rings in it till i rebuilt it this spring and its a 1996.

ya but if you do not have a lot of motor mods like porting wont the speed of the air travailing thru the carbs (witch wood be lower) not let it pick up as much gas?

Ok well a big carb will let more air to the motor letting it rev a little higher but also the air is flowing ez'er thru the carb and it will not pick up as muck gas because it lowers the vacuum in the carb so it it dos not get as much gas i.e leaning it out. this is also why the low end will suck with bigger carbs. the motor is not at a very high rev the velocity thru the carbs if very little also it is not picking up much gas so it will not pick up as fast hope i helped

well i have bigger carbs on my banshee and it realy makes a lot more tork and power on the top end not so much the bottom (it has something to do with the velocity of the air travailing thru the carbs wen the motor is at low RPM's) i think my 35mm (verses stock 26mm)are a hell of a lot better set up than stock or a 2>1 just my 2 sense

Maxima Caster 927 at 32-1 its a great oil and smells great when is burnt. :thumbsup: P.S it dos not taste as good as it smells.

i wood just go thru fast i got a set of k&n pods and a shit lode of jets for my 35mm

I hate it wen people make fun of me because i'm working on it all the time then thay bring thar broken shit to me because thay don't work on it. AND When people say my banshee wont keep up with their little stock 660 and when i blow by them they blaim it on something els..... well if you wood clean your air filter more than once a year that might help. AND When random people come up to me and say that there what ever will beat my banshee. and when i say "lets race'' they say "i don't have any gas" or what ever their excuse is.
