Well im at sea lvl and with the lid off the airbox fmf fattys and +4 timing i have 27.5 pilots. when i had stock 25's it bogged horibly on the bottom end. put the 27's and she screams with no hesitation so try the 27's . besides if its not that then just swap em out with the 25's. the carbs arent that hard too pull. Its worth a shot yess?
  2. Yea the slides only go in one way but if you put the left slide in the right carb and vise versa then the notches will line up. but it would be backwords.

  4. My dad did the same thing when we rebuilt the top end!!! he thought it would run through and then wede just drain it!! :beer: gyah it smoked like a bish and fouled plugs like a mofo!! It still RAN though! ... well it doesnt anymore though.....
  5. It wouldnt spark right after we rebuilt it. we gaped it when we replaced the stator. i think we put it on .18 what shoud it be gaped at?
  6. It has a brand new ricky stator 200 watt and cdi. ill check the pickup gap. and yess the problem is on both sides. could it be that it needs a new coil?

Ok i already removed the tors and parking break completly. i have a new msr clutch perch instead of stock also i took the box off and all the tors wires when we had to rewire the bike . the tors tops are still on the carbs though we just cliped the wires going to it until we purchase a kit. the choke tube is connected. and the carbs synced. i didnt use a tool but they arent way off they are pretty close.

Ok so a while back me and my dad rebuilt the engine .before that it ran perfect (bought it used) any way so after we rebuilt it then shee wouldnt spark . well turns out the cdi went out and when we went to buy one it wuznt even a banshee cdi! It rigged of of an older model 600 honda!! gyah. who would do that! any way so after learning this we purchased a new cdi and from RS had to rewire the whole thing cuz the rigged honda cdi had wires all crossed to make it work. any way so now we finaly got it to run and it would waste a buttload of gas and bogg odown low :ohmy: we didnt mess with the jetting and it ran perfect before! :verymad: it would just blow raw gas out the exhaust when idling(btw this is after i took the lid of the aribox) but WOT it wouldnt. So we checked the carbs and turns out some ding bat had a 32.5 pilot and a 200 main!! so we ordered som jets from jeff at F.A.S.T and the y got hre ystrdy . he said to use a 27.5 pilot and 320 main for my mods(lid of airbox timing advance 4 degrees fmf gold series pipes) So they got here ystrdy putem in and it still blow raw gas out the exhaust and now it boggs like a mofo wide open ! so i thaught t had to be the needle clip in the wrong positon so i cheked it like 10 mins ago its in the third spot!! wtf! stock clip in the stock location!. so now im stumped. i have now efn idea what to do ive checked everything i can think of at this point and im hoping you guyz could help. any ideas on what could be wrong ? or waht i could possibly do to fix it!

Ok so your saying that it sucks more air as well as gas thus making more power instead of just bogging down from to much gas. like lets say umm stock carbs with lid off air box and some pipes vs same setup with bigger carbs is that bigger carbs can suck more air in and more gas thus making more power. whearas a smaller carb can only suck in a certain amount of air but a bigger carb will suck more air to equal it out and make power. kinda confusing the way i wrote it but i think i get what you are saying... lol but thnx for explaing it to me!

Yea but if its the same size jet then how is it going to make a difference? i just dont understand this. so your saying a bigger carb with the same size jet as a smaller carb makes a difference in power. i just dont see how if it is the same amount of fuel going through. you get me? errr like this lets say what does the size of the carb actualy do to change the way the power is, be it torque or high end i understand that smaller carbs give more tourque and bigger carbs give top end at the expense of low end. but i dont understand how? Or why! if its still gonna take the same amount of fuel to air bigger carbs or not?

Ok this is probably the stupidest question but how does putting a bigger carb make more power? i mean what does it do to increas power if you still have the same jetting for it to run right? same amount of air so it would be same amount of gas then how would a bigger carb make more power? :geek: I just dont see it. so could somoen explain it to me please I am but a wee padawan and my mind thirst for knowledge. lol
  13. you just loosen the screws and gap it . i think i read its roughly the thiknes of a matchbook cover.... im not sure though i believe its like .18mm or sumthn... if u do a search you should find the proper gap. :thumbsup:
  14. that is a great idea! noone wants to be ridn around and find out all there coolant leaked out on the floor 6 miles back at camp!! actualy i think on a car it circulates the whole time the engine is on. hmm some wear i saw now i dont remember who did this. but the ran the line up to the end of the handle bar so if it starts spitn out they would see it. ..... hmmm do this at your own risk seems like your riskn scoulding ass hott antifreeze blowin in your face at 70 mph not cool but.. if you want to end the problem entirely use engine ice!! lmfao :yelrotflmao: hey i use it i dog the piss out of her everytime i ride not one problem so far!
  15. i almsot got some gnarlys for my ex but opted for the razors .. since i thought all that wheel spin wuz from wiked ass power! but now that my cheap ass 400 spins em also(not on pavement though!!) i think i made a bad choice :shrug: oh well . my friend got trazor 2's on his craptor we will see if he shreds donuts on his . lol last i rode with him he spun his stock tires all day in the dirt lmfao it wuz hilarious he said quote "its cuz it has sooo much power!" lmao not as much as a bike with that big of an engine should have. :yelrotflmao: weee im glad i got my banshee two stroke for life! :beer:
