alrighty guys well i found some of the old articls i guess i could get them photo copied ? is that the best way to put them up on the site? the first dirtwheels look at the banshee same one i started the post with is in the july 2005 dirtwheels its pretty wicked to read about they where bloweb away with the banshee. june 2005 had a 250r vs lt250r shootout . april 2005 had a first test of the lt250r quadracer. these are all 25 year anniversary flashbacks . i though a had the banhsee vs quadzilla lt500r but i cant find it maybe i was just wishing i had that one im not sure but i can post them up but what would be the best way to go about it?

well if you get t6 i know you will probably either have to shim your fenders out alittle by sticking washer under the bottom fender bracket or you can just cut away alittle. and the shears and cpi are fat as f#@$ so i would imagin you would have to trim more out or cut them off

try new plugs and while they are out check your compression

i still have my stock plastic one and so does my buddie and a bunch of people on here that have had this problem. even the plastic ones will cut your case away i would imagin the pro design ones are better buecause they would be perfectly centerd and round. my plastic one isnt centers and rubs on my case is one spot. so i wouldnt say the metal impellers are bad they are most likly waybetter because they would be perfetly round oh yeah and the waer that you have seen is probably from the original stock plastic one

hey washburn if you dont end up getting thowes issue i know i have a dirt wheeler here that is a yeaor old or so and they has that banshee vs lt500 in it from 1987 i will try and fintit and let you know what month and year if you still want it because i think its only like a year old so it should be easy to back order

well the stainless is definatly going to be better but still find it hard to beline and have always wonder why no one else makes them. like you can build a whole bike from nothing if you wanted to ussualy theres atleast 5 difference companies that make the same stuff that you have to choose from. they must take a pretty expencive rig to make them

thanks jeepman i was looking for some first hand experiance with this problem. im going to go with pro design it just seems odd to me that out of all the after market part out there that there is only 1 band that make impellers oh well have to pay for Quality

belray gear saver poney up man its not that much 20$ should get you enough for a oil change. i just cant justify saveing 4$ i would much rather have bel-ray then motor oil any day

cool i know you can order back orders from dirtwheels but i dont think you can go that far back it would be nice to get some of them old ones to take a look at how far the aftermarket and has come and what people where doing to there bikes back then.

if you dont want to save them cut them off if you want to save them then stick a small flat screw driver down between the bar and the grip then spray som wd-40 or any lube and twist the grip until they lossen up all the way down and for putting them on i ussualy use some hair spary it helps as a lube but then hardens and keeps them in place

amen to that i mean we can still get them here in canade for now but the prices people are selling them for are going up. we can already see the riase here. i will NEVER EVER sell my banhsee lol

never hear much about them but i mean the come stock pretty wicked. fox shocks, dougles rims and razors. my buddies uncle has it and will probably seel it pretty cheap to him its a 2003 rode about 10/15 hours i think. and then put away in a barn we are going to clean it up tomorrow and change the oil and all the fluids. is there anything to look for on these things and are they even any good. i mean we will take it for a rip tomorrow but just any opinions would be great and maybe even some videos of them running?

lol the guy doesnt know canadian weather. it may say -10/20 on the temp guage but then add the windchill lol i can remeber when its been -45/-50 with the wond chill. now thats when your eye lids frezze and the snot in your nose frezzes instantly. anyway i dont fell the need to try and prove a point to you. everyone else seems to understand and but all i can say for you is MEAT HEAD.

well in the new RMATV catolog they the mod quad is around 50$ and the pro design is $80. anyway i read on here somewhere that the mod quad was kinda made porley with very sharp edges? and iv heard no wrong with pro design. can anyone clarify what iv heard and could recomend what brand to buy i mean for pretty much half the price i dont mind sanding the sharp edges off the mod quad.

check your reeds for cracks ,chips. cheack carbs, clean carbs, check compresstion then get back to use

id say drian that gas and mix up some new shit. some of the oil has probably seperated from the gas and is sitting on the bottom of your tank therefore being the first to go into your carbs. . clean the carbs and try new gas and plugs. -
wicked thanks or all the replys. as for blue duce you ca go fuck yourself i said i didnt mind the wiat its not like i can ride again its -10/-20 here so riding is out of the question. i dont know why you have to bash people on here for asking questions thats what a forum is for. accualy ciome to think of it no one asked anyting about how long it takes. a guy stated that he was expecteing his back soon and that he sent them out in whenever? so anyway think what you want i dont mind to cold to fuckin ride. thanks again guys didnt mean to start shit
