  1. Live with my mom OK i really am not some teen. You just would rather talk shit then look at the facts that's, that's the problem. I don't live at home and yaa I do BS rides too. What I was saying is I can tune a banshee so I can beat the crap out of it for that long. That's how I ride. That's what endurance racing is all about. So just keep talking your smack it just shows me that's all you got. no answer to back up this technical background you have just smack talk I have already said lets move on and you just keep talking. Who's the man now. Really look at that who is being the kid. Sure I am younger, but I have responsibility's I pay a morgage.Phone, electrical and all in the long list we begin to know so well. I am out there day after day getting up a 5:00AM and working till 6:00 to pay the bills so don't tell me shit about that all you got is you have been doing it longer. Doesn't mean you learn anything along the way. And for a a young guy who not only works his ass off for his toys. My job requires me to be technical that's how I make a living, So yaa maybe I do expect a tech answer from someone who claims to me to be a tech. when I am one in a line of work who I am sorry just doesn't cut I don't have another day. Work hard play hard maybe you need to stay up a few night's later so you can go out Sunday because riding is life Not just some hobby.Deffinision proves strength, Smack talk proves a way to run off topic
  2. I have never made a statement about better air flow w/ a Boost bottle. What I have already said was it helps balance the pressure between the two carbs. It's lager body over the stock tube gives the air more space to expand and contract while engine and outside air effects occur. So with that in mind he still haven't told me why they make them if there real function is worthless. So I am getting out of this heat with you. I never said it would not run, Did say it had other functions. So he has stock carbs do you ? Well, whatever it has no function and I should go talk to my track mech. Whoever that may be some crazy car working out of a bar parking lot I would say. So and Dyna says there is no need to change. not do not change that's what I have said and look at the big tuff guy. And yaa what have I said from day one in these post BR8ES, A resistor plug. So whatever I still know nothing when you still cant tell me why they have them and make them and I still after 8 years of owning, riding, racing, And repairing have never lost a boot under normal wear conditions and find that the bottle does help me and my machine hear at about 1000ft sea level. So it been rea; and it been fun lets put this topic to bed. Whatever the truth may be nor you or I can seem to work this out. Although I have asked your explanation you still cant seem to give it to me while I can validate my claims in which I make. So at least I can explain why I think it is a worthwhile item. Well, that's all I can say to you.
  3. All right well then yaa you are the smart gut that's why you still haven't told me why they make them if there real function is worthless. So I am getting out of this heat with you. 4. So answer me this Ban-(SHE)-Man why do all of the leading banshee aftermarket Co. Make bottles. You think its really a selling gimic for the last 20years. White bros. Alba action. Trinity, Toomey they all stand by them for woods racing the Dunkan XC banch .w A over sized bottle. Yaa they just must have wanted to add weight and a risk of cracking boots in a 8 hr endurance race. So if you can tell me ? ill step up and say ok now i see they are crap. But if not you must do the same. Sounds like a fair deal in a place of dissagreement.
  5. Yaa it really just shows everyone that you can read. The text was clear on the fact it would run but can and will make it more tempermental. Whatever from your pic it appears to me as if you run a drag banshee. Read that part in my reply aswell. It says drag there is no need. DAAA realy man come on. As far as this logic about drags needing them more. When you drag you rin a run and the motro cools down. When you race it building heat over time causing the air to expand. what ever. your all right i know nothing lets leave it at that. Just becasue he the new guy he knows nothing. So then why in this reply already there are post agreeing w/me as far as i can see the poeple w. this info and talking shit are weekend riders. Nothing but hanging in the garage and talking shit. Well i am off to ride today got to race.
  6. What are you a moron Dyna says outright dont change the wire's .stock wire's are fine. So what do you do you change the wires. What do you think you know more the then the engineers from Dyna FS, In all my years of riding and racing i have never herd such a hill billy in my life.
  7. bottom line if you really think bottles are worthless then why will his atv not run w/o one.Thats all that needs to be said. CAll you local store. ask them whats better. Choke tube which is nothing but a rubber tube from one carb to another for ballance of air pressure and flow.or a bppst bottle which give the air more room to expand. Try going to physics class fool.. This guy runs drag shocks that great if all you do is go in a line but for the real riders that nothing but a $$$$ pit. Real riding is called tallent racing GNCC and XC. I have had enough of people who know nothing. IT just miss leads people who really want to ride with skill. Botttle are wirth the coin. Hands down.
  8. Its verry clear you know nothing. Do you really think Yamaha spent the money to have a tube for nothing. Just like i said it will run but it makes the tuning more sensitive. If you think that crap fine. It just tells me you know verry little about 2-Stoke motors. So whatever i know nothing only have been riding for 10 years and have a track mech work on my bike. By the4 way only have ever blown one top end between bike and ATV's. Sure the tube is nothing but a waste of space. YAa makes tons of sence you moron. Do your self a fovor learn about pressure and temp effect's on two stroke motors. DA Listen TYGUY its clear by the pics and tech info that he is a dragg runner. LIke i said before it will run w/o a boost bottle it just gives the carbs more room to equalize pressure, if you thinks that's bull do the physics. your A.Dretel AMA top 100 XC rider. Look at is POS you want help from that kind of guy who really thinks its just something CO's make for nothing, DAAA DA
  9. Between all the post at this point the question almost seems to be about answered but a two stroke machine is a temperamental beast when it comes to trying to gain a few psi. When you begin to change domes and fuel types you need to increase your sideline parts list,IE: Larger and smaller domes. MAine and piliot jets to cover you for not just altitude but temature as well. Even more so when riding in different altitudes and different temps throughout the year. You would really have to tune like a racer. On that note race fuel has it pros but depending on your riding they may not be worth it. You have to take a look at that. Having proper jetting to air flow available is key with the stock air box Uni-Filter plugs and a Foam filter you honestly don't have enough air to be pushing race fuel. It will work and will run. I am defiantly not saying it wont. You just wont get all you can from the fuel. So unless you want to play track mechanic then increase domes and head. Aluminum air box, And a CDI Box with the toomeys your going to get the exhaust flow and it will stay more reliable over the long term. I race and don't run race fuel. Cross county so reliability is the key for me. For drag guys. defiantly the race fuel. Market.. And by the way With a Dyna Fs CDI box there is no need for timing keys it can be programed to on the fly changes. Yaa i know it rocks
  10. Because it runs with the choke on that really eliminates the air leak theory unless its in the choke boot. Not sure of the set up on a Polaris. But Sometime sitting can cause deterioration on junk needle valves or can clog jets I know you said you took it apart. so if all looks good, Then we look deeper. The last time you road what temp was it outside. And is that any different then the temp outside now. When it sat to you use a fuel stabilizer I.E.: Sta-bill. Let me know. :ninja:
  11. Octane Booster's Are Crap, There bad for the motor, Can cause excessive heat and rapid parts break down. Even more important in 2-stroke motors because some types even thin engine oil. So do yourself a favor. Stay away from them. If you want a timing advance then do it right. spend some beans and get a Dyna FS CDI box. Well, worth the hard earned cash. Even with a higher octane fuel you would really still want one anyway. It really is a must for any mod's directly effecting fuel to air ratio's ::
  12. That is a good question and let me tell you I recommend doing the motor assembly out of frame. It gives you more room to work, Also reduces the chances of loosing parts or getting Debree in the lower case and then loosing your transmission. So rock on.
  13. Honestly, The Boost bottle is going to do you more good over all. It lets the air pressure equalize between the duel Carb's allow it to run smoother. Unless you are running a 2 to 1 Carb system or do nothing with the banshee except for drag then you are better off getting one. Bridging the tubes can make tuning a more frequent thing because the air intake will be affected even more by temperature change
  14. Never have i lost a plug to to carbon build up on the banshee. Its all about the tuning
  15. well said i have been trying to say that for two days now. NICE
  16. agreed thats plugs 101, There are two types of resitors. when you run a motor with a CDI box it can cause RFI when running the wrong plugs. You should check it out, a great place to start is the NGK site.
  17. BR9EGV's are a diffrent resistor type plug w/ a thinner inner wire. Not a bad plug but more for running alcohol. Chatted w. a good friend on the west coast today about his thoughts. PLugs are plugs unless they are not sparking. life and spark are diffrent between them but as i said in the last post oil type and tuning will be the factors in how any of them run
  18. All these plugs with different lengths of resistors is all crap BR8ES are the standard resistor type. The oitl type, oil-Ratio mix,Temp And altitude, all can play a big effect an a two stroke twin when not tuned correctly. Or the classic low RPM rider's cause plug falling. Anything else is just plain Bull SEET. BR8ES provide plenty of flame for the fire while insuring a cooling running engine. CDI boxes are worth there money in gold for hotter spark and easy Timing curve changes on the fly with high end race units.....
