On the warrior my dad hadm the intake boot between the carb and the motor cot a small crack in it. It did the same thing, idled fine, but would die the second you tried to give it gas, changed that rubber boot and it was fine after that. May want to check it out. We would have never noticed it, but we went to work on it at night and started it in the shed and when my dad gave it gas i just happen to look right there and noticed some fire through the crack.
are the plastics cut or full. i woundnt paint an un-cut set. the paint will crack since the fenders move a lot uncut. If you want a full fendered bike, new plastics are the way to go. If you have race cuts though, paint is the way to go.
I am thinking about powder coating all the stuff i was going to chrome. I want to do my stock a-arms, but the rubber deals will melt. I can get ew rubber dust covers from cascade, so if i just take the dust cover off, mask off the ball joint, have them powdered coated, and replaced the rubber dust cover with new ones everything would be fine right? Is that rubber dust cover the only probelm with coating stock a-arms?
I want to chrome my stock a-arms, footpegs, steering stem, motor mounts (top and bottom), swing-arm, front and rear hubs, spindles and tie rods. Anybody know a good shop that is pretty quick and does good work?
rofl... id get arrested if i was at their stadium, id throw shit at moss, brady and their coach till hit one of them with a beer.
