  12. Yup, the front fenders are the grey ones I got from you. I like em, something different!
  13. I agree. I didnt build my 421, thats why it wasnt there, but I do agree, that piece needs to be there.
  14. I think its 45 bucks, but comes with a pancake bearing. It is the first thing I buy for my bikes now.
  15. same thing happened to me one time. Jamb nut on the adjuster in the center of the pressure place came loose... I would bet that is your problem too. I would suggest getting the cascade adjuster. it has an allen head instead of the stock phillips screw that strips out easily. Has a pancake built in too. Check it out.
  16. It is easy, dont fret it man. I just hated it because I didnt feel like screwing with it at the end of everyday. I was ready for a beer when i was done riding, didnt feel like getting alky all over me (shit is bad on your skin, you will see!). I have heard many people running water for coolant with alky and being fine. I ran regular coolant and it worked for what i did. Another option would be some redline water wetter, royal purple coolant additive, engine ice (would be a waste imo), or just coolant. Your fuel lines will get hard no matter what, alky just makes them hard as hell.... Have fun man! Sounds like you are going to have a fun bike!!
  17. It is very easy, just a pain in the ass... The fuel lines get hard as rocks, and you have to change them frequently. Alky just was not the right thing for me I guess. If you need fuel line in any color hit me up, I have lots in stock all the time.
  18. If Nate said you were find on 93 im sure you would be OK. I used race gas because I had a shit load of compression on my 10mil. No, it doesnt matter that there is alky in there, it will mix with the race gas as soon as you start purging, burn out and you will be purged. You want to make sure you run the bike on the purge fuel till the motor starts stumbling pretty bad though, that way you know you have all the alky out of the bike.
  19. If you are purging alky you do NOT want to burn all the alky out of the carbs you want to drain it out, you never want to run your bowls dry on alky, that is a disaster looking for a place to happen... when you are done riding, pull the fuel lines off the carbs and drain all the alky out of the tank. then fill your tank with race gas (mixed with 2 stroke oil duh), start the bike, and putz it around till all the alky is burned out of the bike. You will know when it is burned out, starts to run like ass. Leave the purge fuel in that tank till its time to ride again, pull the lines off the carbs, drain the purge fuel out, refil with alky and you are good to go. Thats all i ever did with the alky bike I had and it worked like a charm. Hope that helps.
  20. for swingers, the only place to go is www.havocperformance.com Jeff is the man and is great to deal with. PM Blewbyu for more info, thats his screen name on here.
  21. I think I know what you mean. I think the two holes you are talking about is the one in each case that holds the cases together with a little strap like deal. I would worry about it. My 421 and 10mil never had that piece in there. Do you have a pic? It may be the oiler deal there too... get a pic of what hole you are talking about that is stripped out.
  22. Here is one thing you can win at the show... was really cloudy outside so I dont have any real good pics yet, but the best way I can explain these is the copper color that dodge and chevy use on cars. Its very similiar to that color, but looks like brushed aluminum. Will get some better pics in the sun... EVEN IF YOU DONT HAVE A BANSHEE, AND YOU ARE AT THE SHOW, ENTER TO WIN ANYWAY, WE WILL DO A PAINT JOB ON A CUT FENDERED BIKE FOR YOU IF YOU WIN THESE.
  23. what kinda bike are you working on? This site is mostly banshees, no cams on them.
  24. There is a very easy fix for the rear fenders doing that... 1- before you paint then drill the mounting hole out a little bigger, get a rubber grommet from lowes and put in there. Problem solved. 2- If you dont want to drill a hole in the plastic, epoxy a washer over the hole so when you tighten the bolt down the washer doesnt want to spin on the paint and crack the clear.. and dont tighten the bolt down too much. If you have having really bad cracking in weather conditions or flexing you either didnt use good product or it wasnt not prepped correctly. C&B- Good to know it wont completley destroy paint if you crash, mine may be on its lid at walden this year... lol
  25. will do!!!!
