  1. Dean sundahl does it. And i know what your thinking, he only races desert. But he ports his motors just to get the most power out of them, not to be rideable. Socalinit has some of the pictures of my port job, pm him to see the port job.
  2. I would go with a full drag port. And dont say that you cant dune with it then because I dune with my drag ported jugs and i am anly 12 years old. And that pro design head is definately the way to go, droped my temp 50 degrees. And i know because I have a temp gauge. Souunds like your bike is going to be fun. Keep us updated. Where do you ride? Glamis? Im in So Cal.
  3. Pay the 32 bucks and get a completely new one from cascade. Because if you do it yourself it wont be as smooth. And also they set it up so its easier to find neutral.

  7. No thats not normal. Clean your carbs with carbs with carb cleaner and you should be alright. As for the flames, cant help you on that man!

  12. Besides verde powersports, where can you get a desert seat? I know you can get them from ceet, but i dont know the website so please if you know tell me the website! And i know hi-flite has them, but they never email me or call me back.
  13. Well the rz cylinders will do exactly that. Theyll give you around 60hp or more. Pluss they have a lot of bottem end. And the problem with those are that theres a LOT of electrical problems! But i would recomend an mx port, 34mm pj carbs, and duncan racing low end pipes. Thats the best setup for you! :thumbsup: Rz banshees

  17. Im pretty much doing the same thing. Mine are being ported by dean sundahl! :biggrin: Amazing top end. Ive ridden a bike with his port job on it. +5 timing, 20 cc domes(pro design cool head, pro-lites, 340 mains, trued and welded crank, v-force 3s, 6in pods, etc. He claims 70 hp on stock carbs. Im so excited for my build up. Good luck on yours! :thumbsup:

  19. Once the plastic one goes, your done for the weekend. And don't get a modquad billet impeller! Someone on here a few weeks ago had to mill it down because it didnt fit. And do yourself a favor. Mount a temp gauge somewhere. Me, i mounted mine behind my right light. pic pic

  21. Thank you. I'm just going to stick to jetting my quad the normal way. I just wanted to know what the dial-a-jet was. Had no intention of using it.

  23. I rode my cousins bike with the dean sundahl jugs on it and i thought for sure it had to be bored. It turns out that dean said it was only ported. The only reason we werent sure is because it was my uncles bike at once. But then he passed away. And i was too young when he passed away to ask him what he had done to his banshee. I love the feeling of riding that beast. Ill definetly have some vids of my banshee once im done with the motor. Then comes custom long travel. Already have the design just need to build it.LOL Should take me about half of a year.
