Okay, Ill tell you the whole story of how i that gas tank is not sett up for sundahl frames only. My uncle had an insane bansheewith this gas tank on it. It is not a sundahl framed banshee. He died when i was very young. I never asked him about it becuase i was about one when he died. We still own the banshee, but we dont know where he got the gas tank for his banshee. People always tell me that they're only made for sundahl frames, and i know that there not!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, that one is only 1 gallon, its stricly meant for drag rag racing No its not, there's a company that makes them somewhere around san diego. I know that most people will not know where they are made because of how small of a buisness the compony is.

I saw that thing at glamis. It was in the camp next to us. Dude that thing sounds like a diesel truck! Didnt that thing have a straight pipe? The end of the pipe had a 4in diameter!

Is that where you let the quad idle with the gas turned off, and then when the quad goes dead, that means your done?

What exactly is purging? Is that running the motor dry? If not, what exactly is it? I am, but I was going to make long travel sundahl like a-arms and then put shocks on it that are meant for the dunes so that it would be tuned right.

And the widest! :biggrin: But I wouldnt waste all of that money intoa blaster. I would say get some gbc dune trakers for the front, and some sand devils for the back. That worked out perfect for me when I used to have a blaster!

Sand tires unlimited front tires are truely the best! I dont have them yet but ive tried them on other quads before and they are truly the best. Stock tires SUCK if you are a seriuos duner. You cant really talk about duning stuff if youve neveer ridden in the sand before. Youvegot to try it! Its so much better because first of all, sand is forgiving, dirt isnt, if you fall in the dirt its going to cost a lot of money to fix your bike but if you fall in the sand the worst you going to get is a broken flag, there are whey more oppertunities to go fast, the sand actually cleans your quad while your out there, no spark arresters, more parties, less rules, and there are usually a lot more people camping with you. Once youre a duner you will never look back!

Mine arent shaved! I raced my friend up comp hill that has the same mods (except for hauler tires) and I was beating him most every time. Plus they are so light that you dont lose much power mid and top hill.

My banshee does just fine! I was racing a guy with the same mods as me and I was beating him up comp hill. The only reason why is because they hook up so well and are SO light.

I use uncut paddla brats and they work great! The 18 paddles hook up awesome! And I don't lose speed going up the hill because they're so lite, even uncut theyre probobbly lghter than skat-traks. Plus sand tires unlimited have been making paddles forever! They defently know what they're doing. And they make great products. They are much lighter, stronger, cooler, can be cut MANY different ways, and goes all the way up to 18 paddles!

No its not. I was suprised how well the paddles hooked up. I dont loose any speed while going up the hill because of how light they are. And when you get them spinning tey will throw a 30 foot roost! I would highly recomend them to all of you hardcore duners out there. I have Boyesen power reeds that came in toomy's pro rider kit.

What would be the best mod I could do to my banshee that's $250 or under to improve the speed noticeably? (Check my signature to make sure I don't already have it.)
