yes hartford is a 1/2 mile for the race cars...... but for the quads its about a 1/8 mile setup on the front stretch if you go be careful...that place is dangerous they tried cutting 25 of us loose on that lil ass track the last time i was there we told them if they were doin it that way we werent racing....waaaay to dangerous. hartford is way too short and too narrow...... pound 3 gears down the straight and lock up the brakes to get in the corner.... it was a crash fest when i was there never go again Dan

i have a TCS re-valved stocker......night and day difference they set it up as a zero pre load ride height adj. dual rate w/eibach springs it was most definatly worth the coin to have it done....was like 340.00 i think Dan

man im tellin ya as a former sand star owner...... the haulers are BY FAR the tire to buy. like i said i ran the 20x10x10 10 paddle hauler that Fouledout420 let me borrow...( again Shayne!) the bike was HOOKED UP!!! :woot: im really close to your weight man, its difficult to get hooked up with our size.....but when we do lookout! as some honda rider with a $5,000.00 motor (i wont mention names LOL ) found out the last weekend in april. im fighting traction issues right now myself in the dirt and i have a $1,300.00 TCS shock setup... rear is a re-worked stocker dual rate w/eibach springs, fronts are dual rates with comp. and ride height adj. my tires are most of it .....thinking of trying the knarleys for the trails and dirt roads and such. my bike is almost 70 hp tp the wheels and i have stock carbs..... bigger are a waste of money......it will kill your low end till you start porting as far as domes for a stock bike prolly 20 or 21 cc would be perfect Dan

i ran fouledout420's 20x10x10 10pdl haulers...... like dave said im 125 lbs and the bike is almost 70 hp to the wheels.......they hooked great wasnt very many stock cyl bikes that could get by me.... and i am runnin a stock swinger us light guys need the extra paddles to get us on top of the sand and moving as far as the sand stars go.....ive ran them too and they are ok but haulers are for sure the way to go Dan

putting bigger carbs on isnt going to do anything for you unless u have the mods to support them. my bike is almost 70hp to the wheels on stock carbs and pump gas..... another thing to remember is you will loose some low end with the bigger carbs also..... Dan

i was told by dan hull at a&s racing not to waste my time or money with a billet impeller he says the o-rings that ride on the impeller shaft will eventually wear grooves in the shaft and let coolant leak in to the tranny. i dont have one in my bike....it still has the stock impeller in it and it cools just fine.... IMO if it aint broke dont fix it...... Dan

they really looked at my pipes cuz there were no clamp ons. i had 1 guy give me some shit about my toomeys with the alba sparky kit. then later i asked another DNR officer and he told me i was 100% legal and to not worry about it. Dan

I run engine ice in my bike and it runs about 185 if im movin pretty good.... runs about 200-215 when im riding slow or in tight trails. and thats with the stock impeller +4 timing and a clean up port and T5's Dan
