  1. Are the screws you're talking about the one that hold the stator cover on? If so, I reccomend you get some afermarket stainless bolts with hex heads so you will never have to cut off another one. Just don't tighten them uptoo much and strip the case threads. Go to http://www.farmandsandtoys.com
  2. It must be nice to have the dunes to yourself. I ride Glamis and Dumont
  3. Damn, that's awful. Looks to me like you build it up so it will break and then you can work on it some more...lol. That's a great looking Shee! Sounds fast. Do you think the skirt got caught on the ports? I've heard of that happening. B-T-W, is that snow in the dunes?! Damn, that looks cold. Where is that? Have fun on the rebuild
  4. Thanks, all!
  5. Thanks. A friend of mine let me borrow one of those (the Chinese one) but we couldn't get it started. I think the floats were stuck in the carb and gas just poured out of it. I'm sure if it is new (and well maintained) it would be great.
  6. If anyone has a small cc quad that is in good
  7. Big prayer goin' out to the man upstairs, right now!
  8. Why doesn't anyone run Yamalube anymore? I heard it makes your motor run hot. What's the best way to switch oils
  9. Don't ask me...my Shee doesn't like trails. I just end up spinning my wheels. I guess better tires would help. Can anyone recommend good dirt tires (and size?) I'm finding that SIZE MATTERS!
  10. Thanks, guys. I will check out his stuff.
  11. Is it in the dome? I'm sure a good shop could fill it...hey, great time to ge it milled! Or just buy an aftermarket. I have one off a 2003 in PERFECT cond for sale. Not sure what it's worth?
  12. Got my Jugs back from Jeff, put it all back together and to it to Glamis... never even got into 5th gear! It is FAST enough! Thanks for all your hard work and

  15. Does anyone make a +4 swing arm extension? I wanted to try one before I buy a longer swing arm just in case I want to go longer than +4. I had some porting done and now I can't keep the front end down. Riding mostly dunes with a hill drag here and there. Thanks.
  16. What kind of riding are you going to do? I LOVE Banshees. I ride mostly sand, though. It's not the greatest trail quad unless you're an experienced rider and can keep the rpms up. I ride some trails
  17. Hey guys...great reading! Question: Besides the obvious weight and uglyness of the parking break and cables, is there a real performance advantage to removing it? thx!
  18. THX. I'll check 'em out.
  19. What web page?
  20. I'm in San Fernando Valley (405/101) I had work done to my other SHEE at Trinity a few years ago and they did a great job, but I'm always looking for the next HOT Shop! Why did you pick the shop in OK?
  21. Does anyone know a very reliable shop in SoCal where I can send my cylinders and head? Also, for a "Duner" with the occaisonal hill drag, what type of porting would you reccomend? I want to keep the stock carbs for now. I have FMF Fattys/Turbine Cores, K&Ns.
  22. THX.
  23. Does anyone know where I can find a high performance shop in or around San Fernando Valley to do some tuning and High performane work on my Shee?
  24. Yeah, you're right about the sand sucking power. My 97 with Toomeys didn't bogg...it just kept going faster and faster.
  25. Sorry, guys. I'm gonna get some more info and get back to you. thx.
