  1. Damn, IThese things look sweet as hell. I definatly would have bought them if they were out instead of my Elites. CHECK THESE BADBOYS OUT!! Its retarded for as little riding as I do and not being able to race to even have HI/LO Speed comp/rebound ELKA Elites but I wanted and got the best Shocks to fit the Banshee. With the Pro Dual Linkage and the LT Rear Elite. http://www.goldenwestcycle.com/productinfo_item_1126-dc_521.htm
  2. what is your zip. 200 is fair but I live in Pittsburgh PA and it would cost over 100 in gas just to get there. 150.00 cash in hand Ill pick up
  3. First thing I used to do when the lakes would freeze over with my LT250R is put my holeshots with studs in them. Instant hookage. Then flip the tires for some added width. You can also run the air filter rite off the carb/s and rejet. I never took it off my property or to far from it and race it if I did I would have sunk some money into it. Banshee Studded Holeshots/ Wider front and rear/ and all of the boltons plus a port job for ice. Diffrent gearing depending on power and tire size too.
  4. Yeah I see that too, they look way bigger in the pics everything seems a little enhanced. I just went back over the pipes. Theres a little scuff mark too but again its small and once put on it wont show. I bought them well over a year and a half ago and never used them. I kept them in the house. they are little dings not dents anyway. when installed you cant even see them and is definatly not not going to hinder preformance. PMs returned.

  10. I see, I was trying to say it raises the rear suspension Travle almost 2 inches 1.55. when you change the way the shock mounts to the linkage, even if its only by moving it 1 bolt hole closer to the motor. (Like a GT Thunder linkage setup I seen on a quad I couldnt believe that it would make any diffrence it was moved so little that the naked eye could miss.) in Elkas setup it helps the natural action of the shock by useing more internal valveing smoothing out the overall ride than relying more on the spring like a normal setup. Im pretty sure you can only use the Longer shock with Elkas Dual Banshee linkage. Sorry if I am wrong in anyway I am very rusty at what I was learning fairly well and Ive been distracted a few times while typing this out. Clear it up for us Matt. "the regular rider that doesn't frequent a MX track will never notice an extra 1.55" of shock travel" this is a pretty acurate statement. For the normal weekend rider switching from stock to Link+Elka shock. Other than that it depends if the rider is very familiar to how their old setup was reacting to the elements.. "
  11. How often and aggresivly do you ride is the question you have to answer when choosing a Basic PB shock to a stage 3-4 shock. Elka shocks are not Better than Custom Axis shocks. Axis shocks are the shit and each set is hand built, valved according to specs, and tested before the go out. not just taken off a rack. Axis shocks are also alot more expensive and take aloooooooooot longer to ship out because they are handeled on an individual basis like that. I went with Elka over Axis because I think ELKA shocks are just as good and they came out with the dual linkage. I wouldnt have a problem in the world running Axis shocks on anything. Espically a 250R.
  12. I have to tell you your wrong on this one Bud. Elka's dual linkage and LT Shock make a big of diffrence over an Elka shock on stock linkage. 1 You get more travel it raises the Rear end almost 2". I used to know this stuff alot better but Ill tell you what I know from expirence. Dual link setup takes hard whoops much eayser, Lands alot more efficiant from big air jumps, It takes corners much more efficiantily by griping instead of sliding, stock revalve or Elka stock link you will be sliding your ass end out bigtime around that turn. All in all its a much better setup. I think the price is ridicules and its really only worth it over a Standerd Elka shock setup if you really care that much about riding atleast a few times a week, smoking your buddies through the woods, or are a competitive Racer. I have it only because I had plans on racing. If I knew I could only ride as a weekend warroir and have limitations on how hard I push it due to injurys I would have bought a STD Elka Rear. Or mabey just had my stock shock revalved. I also would have never bought Stage 4. You live and you learn I supose.
  13. Oh yeah, Im not selling anything untill Im sure everything is gonna go. This may take some time. Not 90 days or anything but atleast a month Ide say so I can talk to more people and guage intrest in package deals. Or who wants what and when. It will take some time but Im Confident everything will go for my asking prices. I dont want to Promise an Exclusive listing on the HQ alone yet either. Im still weighing my options. Throw prices at me though. Let me know what you are all thinking. When Im ready to sell Ill put everything up in the For Sale section. Ive sold around 8-10 sets of brand new ELKA shocks and other stuff when I used to come on here everyday. So I think I know what to ask for mine that is fair for both involved in the transaction. I have some things and Package deals in mind. Ill post what I want to get out of my stuff in a few days time mabey sooner. I will drive and deliver parts too up to a cirten distance. Ill have to crunch some numbers of exactly how far Im willing to go + Gas mileage. I gaurentee my parts too. If whoever gets them thinks the slightest thing is off I will give a full refund. All of it is in such good condition, just broken in is how I would describe the shocks and things like that. They dont need serviced. Engine is running hard. 155psi each and a very good leakdown test numbers. I forget the exact numbers I have to call Cody for some recolection.
  14. They are fantastic and worth every cent. Im sriously overwhelmed at how well these bars preform. I expected a little less vibration and less arm pump but shit 330 bucks it better do that. Well it did that and a HELL OF ALOT MORE. I put in the blue elastometers for less up and down movement over ruts and roots and just that alone was worth it. I cant tell you how much less up and down movement there is and the vibration and hard hitting heavy bucking of my old Renthal Fatbars are no longer an issue with Flexx bars. These bars team up with the suspension and just pulverize any kind of abuse to your arms upper chest forget about getting tossed from your bars ever again. I rode so much harder and so much longer than I ever did before with absolutly no arm pump. Simply Amazing. Would I buy them again? Is it worth $330.00 YES EVERY PENNY!!!!!! I just bought my Lonestar 4130 Chromoly steering stem with Antivibe clamp too. They will be in for my next ride. Im exhuasted from riding all weekend. Here just check the link out instead of me copy and pasteing http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=115764
  15. Hell yeah, I have a bunch of COC Gear. Check this store out. Ive spent so much money there its rediclous. I do love me some quality band merch though. http://www.rockandro...m/coc/index.htm IM VOTEING WITH A BULLET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought a bunch of Crowbar stuff too. Notice how Crowbar is the only band that has 3 and 4xl. DOWN Has some good merch too. This is funny as shit. hehuhhhheheheh Remember this. Ill send you ten bucks Paypal if you Crowbar fans dont laugh at this link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCrQ3ixSTNc
  16. Yes, 90% of trail riders get the 14 Degree bend. I just changed from red, to blue and I liked the blue elastometers alot better. Ive been wanting to try the next stiffness level but I never got around to it. They do have an awsome warantee too. If you crash and break em they replace em. They will replace the bars for 150.00 I think if it isent an issue with instalment or some other stupid things people do.
  17. Yes, Info like this definatly helps me. Everything I have is pristine and work flawlessly so it is all high end stuff. Keep on posting, any little thing you can think of. I PMed you guys who are asking.
  18. I decided almost a year ago that the Banshee I put so much Passion and Cash into has to go. I just cant keep pretending that if I put newer better handeling parts on her (IE 250R GEO CHASSIE) She will give me a more comfterble ride and I wont have to pay AS Much Pain wise. I suffered a really bad leg Injury that in turn tore my Spine into shreds. Atleast thats what all of the Doctors say is the contributing factor. Im not gonna cry about it Chronic Pain is a bitch and mine wont let me ride anymore. I can cry about letting my Banshee go though. Yes grown men can cry over loseing toys. Well Unless its a workhorse to help me with chores around my land. I hope to buy one with my partout money Plus savings. Now the market here for a built race Ready Banshee is just not a good enough turn around on my investment. Im ready to take a big loss but the offers I have been getting are an insult and I would rather keep her for show and a straight shoot on the road every now and then. Parting the Banshee out seems to be the best way. I bought Her at Gatto Cycle shop here in Pittsburgh in 05 for 3200 It was pretty much stock except T6 pipes, Nerf bars and a full set of PRM skid plates. I asked why the guy sold it and the dealer told me he never rode and and he traded up for a Gixxer. I rode it stock for about a year then started adding on mod after mod to turn her into a XC Beast and I did a fantastic job. I dident put in near as much time as one may think because of my disability. It was always future plans for future races and it never happened. I bought Holeshot XCRs up front and Razr IIs rear in mid 06 and they are still on there in good condition. My parts guy/Mechanic/Childhood friend Cody Buchanan of Buchanan Racing of course noticed the minimal wear of my tires over the months and even told me buying all of this stuff wouldnt do much for me but I wasent gonna listen. I wanted to race! I started thinking about a few power gain mods 2007, NOSS HEAD (anodized blue) 20CC Domes, Pro Design Timing Plate +4 and V Force 3 reeds. Power was plenty after that, Its still kicking 155 even in each cyl. Stock bore and stroke no porting. Then I started with the handeling Mods, I figured if I bought top of the line stuff I would make it a much more comfterble ride and it did by leaps and bounds but it was still unrealistic for me. I bought Lonestar Racing +2+1 A-Arms and LSR Steel braided break lines, then came the Elka Elite front shocks then I saved a few more months and bought Elkas new Pro Dual Linkage and LT Rear Elka elite shock. I got it all put together in late summer of 2008. I bought a -2 LSR Swingarm off Ebay and it ended up being -3 and wouldnt fit the width of the Rear shock spriing so I had a really good local mechanic widen my stock swingarm to fit the spring and weld it back to make it stronger than stock. Mission accomplished! in 2009 I bought a 2:1 Trinity carb to airbox setup and A SINGLE 35PWK Plus, Lonestar anti vibe Steering Stem one inch higher than stock and a set of Fasst Flexxx bars. I have all of the papers and recipts for everything. Dated. I had my guy look at my shocks and he said from minimal wear they are good as they are. They dont need touched. So if you read all of this knowing I am going to part it out How would you go about doing it and what price tag should I put on the good aftermarket stuff seeing as it is in such good condition. Im thinking about just selling the motor with head. Alot of you know me when I used to post here and some of you have bought some brand new pretty expensive stuff from me and Im positive my feedback is 100% here and on Ebay and where I live. Wherever I end up listing my partout, here exclusivly or include Ebay and Craigslist I will offer a Money Back Guarentee if anybody buys something and isent 100% satisfied. Mods are in Sig. EDIT- Here is a pic of her naked. Taken about a year and a half ago. I have to take new ones next time I go up. I also left some stuff out im sure so feel free to ask questions or PM me with questions and my phone number http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l137/Washburn_03/?action=view&current=100_0479.jpg&newest=1

  21. This site is not only filled withgood people and a kickass owner and sponcers but it is the #1 reason my Banshee is setup so tight. If not for this site being filled with knowlledge that meets all types of Banshee rider and Im just 1 of thousands that can thank BansheeHQ for all we have. Like Locdog said its because of all of the members and sponcers!
  22. WOW, Yet another achievement for the best and longest running twin 2 stroke ATV ever made. We are Loyal, we are fast, we are ready willing and able gearheads, and we breath competition. I am proud to be a member of this site 1 million strong and will be here when it rolls around to 2 Million. Long Live the BansheeHQ and Long live the Banshee. Still makin em eat roost and choke on their slow 4 pokes!!!!
  23. I would gladly test it out for you. You could ride mine and see what a stock stroke motor does compared to your 4mil. Ide imagine you would have some decent gains and the topend should rip on that thing with T5s and 35mm Airstrykers. Might not be the best trail setup but for open shit thats a good choice. I have a few very good and well respected engine builders around here too that could look at it for you and the turn around time would not be 9 months. Thats insane. Or you might need a better setup. PM Me if you wanna talk my zip is 16038 Im up there almost every weekend.
  24. Ide like to look into trading my Complete aftermarket race ready Banshee for your KTM 525XC Plus cash if justified. I Have a 2003 Blue Banshee with Pinks Elka Elites All around with new Pro Dual ELKA Linkage Lonestar Racing A ARMS +2+1 Lonestar AntiVibe Steering Stem +1 taller Mounted with Fasst Flexxx Bars Motor is all virgin Stock non ported- Shows you how much its been ridden- Never XC Raced like I intended just riding with buddies a few practice laps. NOSS Head 20cc domes and Pro Design Billit Timing plate +4 Kicks 155psi Even VF3s Chrome TR6s and a set of Chrome PT MIDS That I plan on installing a few other little parts Let me know if intrested Email Collins.Neil.A@Verizon.net
