Millenium told me $350 aslong as there was no welding involved. They said they would prefer to have the new pistions your going to intall when they do the replating.

Get a timing plate and set it to +4. Noss head with smaller domes or have the stock head shaved down some. Both will help out the bottom end. A seat cover wont hurt eather. :biggrin:

If you have not gotten the 7mill cub yet. The 10mill cost the same to build... I would get the big bore pipes. Shearer and RDZ pipes are both good pipes. If you are not going to build the mortor your self, ask the builder what pipes to run asfar as BB or SB.

IMO Get the shift pro kit or the shift star mod, not both. My bike has a problem going between gears with both... I would get just the shift star.

They have performed good for me and the power coating is top notch. They also have fast shipping and good CS. I would not have a problem buying anouther set If I had to do it agin...

I would call K&T and see what they have to say. K&T does some of the best work out there. They might tell you to get a set of stock non-ported cylinders and call them back. Some places dont want anything to do with outhers peoples work...

For Pismo I think the CPI pipes would be a good choice. I personly love the Shearer pipes. But I think the CPI pipes would be better choice for Pismo. The drag strip is not that long compired to outher places. You might benfit from a pipe with more mid power. IMO If your only going to pismo once in a wile you might look into the Shearer pipes.

You need to find out what size carbs you have. Do you know what make the carbs are? Do you know what size jet you have it it right now. What is the bike doing? We will also need to know what elevation you ride at and current temps.

I am pritty sure the pick up gap should only be around .018 to .020. Might try checking that agin.

I had a stock Banshee once. My first mods were a set of Toomy T-5 pipes and a K&N power lid. I ride at sea level and have the same temps as you. I was running a 320 main jet and 27.5 poilets. It was running a little fat but better safe then sorry. The instructions that come with the power lid are junk. Maby they revised them, I dont know. The instructions that came with mine said to put different size jets in each carb. :shoothead: Hope this helps you.
