  1. LOL ya cuz there's no bs here right now  j/k My PS account still works and i haven't paid a dime?
  2. Not too sure what it takes. Check out chevytruckworld.com. I used to be a regular there like I am here now. I would bet someone has done a write-up or thread about it by now.
  3. Well since this is the ballin bike of the century, why not do some handlebar mounted lights that can be put on/taken off whenever. Would just take a few extra electrical connections...and of course the light mount, etc.
  4. Since you don't do much dragging I would have to say +4 as well. I happen to have a chrome +4 that I'm going to sell this summer...pm if you're interested.
  5. i'm thinkin about tellin my g/f i got some other chick pregnant  but that's kinda mean...haven't decided yet, we'll see if any other ideas come up this evening.
  6. I don't wanna be too obvious here but one pic has black plastic and one has white. Might want to clear up which one it comes with.
  7. Don't worry on the jetting, just watch as ur taking it all apart and u'll be ok. And i would recommend to just do 1 at a time so u dont get parts mixed up. which tube is gas leaking out of?
  8. May have filled it up too much and it's just spitting out the overflow. When/if you took the radiator cap off was the system pressured up at all that you noticed?
  9. Are you still able to ride though. when you start it up in neutral and pull in the clutch and shift into 1st gear what does it do?
  10. Got a chrome +4 in pretty good condition. Holler if u want some pics i'll be home this weekend.
  11. What's yoru gearing now? I'd try a 13 front sprocket and see. That's what I run on mine, but I do more duning/dragging.
  12. Try spraying some WD-40 on the studs when putting the head nuts back on. Amazing how much it smoothes things up.
  13. I'd definately check that jetting. What is your riding elevation? With T-5's and K&N's you should at least be in the 300 range IMO.
  14. It's not very hard. I just take 2 of the nuts, thread them onto the stud and tighten them against each other. Grab the bottom one and loosen and ideally it will come out. To put them in just do the opposite. Now last time I did it I used an impact drill, worked AMAZINGLY well and was soooo much easier. Do NOT use loctite, these things are a big enough PITA to get out w/o loctite.
  15. There IS the possibility of running the bowls dry. I wouldn't think it would overheat though seeing as ur pushing that much air through and cooling everything. As for not using a torque wrench on the head...sure it can be done. just try to get everything as even as possible.
  16. Only thing of those that MIGHT need a jetting change would be the reeds. If they are more responsive down-low your needle might need to be changed, that's the only thing I can think of.
  17. I'm not sure you would tell much difference from 160-180 or so. I'm assuming your crank will be welded, so might as well shoot high, then when it gets into the hot texas summer months throw it on alky
  18. So if you start the bike up in neutral, pull in the clutch, and put it in gear does it lurch and die, or does it work correctly? If it is working correctly and you are able to slip the clutch and start moving then everything is working fine.
  19. How much you wanting for one of hte +6's? Trade for a chrome +4?
  20. Atf type f from walmart or oreilly's or anywhere really.
  21. pretty sure i replied to ur pm, but the internet choked right as i was sending it. lmk if u dont get it.
  22. never broke the springs, but i found a random ball at the shop the other day. maybe urs rolled over our way
  23. I think they would be fine. How much do you weigh, what's your gearing?
  24. oh there never was any snake hunt. got too much on my plate with school right now.
  25. it bent right above the gussets. so technically they did their job, i just needed a bigger gusset
