  1. oh ill pull the gas tank, take a 2x4 and a BFH and start beating the shit out of it. If it looks ok i'll keep it. if not im givin it to a buddy and gettin a new one.
  2. Yeah, when the bikes start to get where there's barely 2-3 feet in between I just won't launch, you can watch from the side and 5/10 bikes wheelie off the line and dont go straight, it's just not worth it. I like to think i'm careful too but apparently I wasn't careful enough. shit happens, life goes on. just gives me a good reason to upgrade
  3. Was doin a little dune racing at LS this past weekend and had a little incident. Here's what i think happened, of course i don't really know cuz u never really do when you wreck. For those of you that know LS, it was at the back dragstrip, we were goin downhill. I lined up all the way to the right, and no one else was to my right side. Well we launched and i got a helluva jump, clicked through the gears, beat everyone of course LOL. Well I felt like i had kinda started drifting to the left some and i was out in front, and we had gone at least 800 ft.+ so i was done. I left off the gas and since i had felt like i was drifting in i just started slowly drifting back to the right cuz i knew (thought) no one was over there, when all of a sudden BAAAAAM some mexican (not being racist, and he couldnt speak any english either, lol it was quite interesting) smokes me on my right side. Slid right through my peg, smashed it into the brake lever, and rammed the brake lever in to the clutch cover cracking it. Also smashed the right pipe into the frame, and you can see where his tire actually hit my frame. I guess the bike flipped and of course smashed the upper frame into the gas tank like every banshee that wrecks does, and apparently the radiator was crammed back up against the tank as well. I'm fine tho, no injuries hardly at all, i think the other guy was ok, but he was like 50 so im bettin he's alot more sore then I am. One of my buddies said you could see where my peg ground around in one of his rims. It basically seemed like i got t-boned, but on a banshee LOL. Here's some pics, they pretty much explain it all.
  4. oh yeah, that's a helluva deal. wish i wouldnt have to buy shit for what broke at LS last weekend or i'd definately pick these up.
  5. Who bored the carbs? Those intakes are pretty interesting, don't exactly fit the theme of my bike though.
  6. Need the pegs, foot brake lever, and clutch cover. PM me how much ya want for all 3 shipped to oklahoma.
  7. Had a little dune racing incident, im in need of some parts now. Need a clutch side peg, brake lever, and a clutch cover. Frame's fucked up where the radiator is like all banshee's are when they wreck, but im either gonna just bend it back out or get a new one from a buddy. Let me know what ya got.
  8. add another 2 and its yours.
  9. ill rent ya mine for 5hundo
  10. w/e you can find really. i have a trinity. imo it's NOT the best b/c they take their own domes, but it came w/ the dome size i wanted so. just a regular prodesign would work fine for you.
  11. i'm guessing if the arrow is to the stator side, that means it would add more holding power right?
  12. meh, i just check the oil alot. prolly throw the pancake in there this summer. so far, quite a few dune trips, not much trouble.
  13. and i can see that ideally...keeping it from welding the rod/ball and all that.
  14. Hm, never thought of that. I'm guessing you do this with the clutch cable disconnected at the top?
  15. Fried a clutch plate to a metal couple months ago and just got a new clutch setup put in this last weekend. Everything seems to be adjusted correctly (arrow on top, etc.) and it works ok, but to get it to not crawl forward at the line I have to have it adjusted so far out at the clutch perch that there is no slack or play up there. I have read that this isn't good for them. Do I need to adjust the clutch arm to one side or the other of the arrow on the cases or what? Does anyone make a longer piece that screws into the clutch perch? thanks
  16. this one will get hated on for sure. but any kind of graphics at all, i prefer the smooth look (no plastic for me right now lol)and never ever stick your peter in the silencer on a deserted trail when the bike is hot. i learned this the hard way.
  17. PM gemini, he's got some FMF headpipes.
  18. well got some on and rode it today. ran pretty damn good. i do need to change the jets up some though. it's got 155 mains and 48 pilots. i KNOW the pilots are way too big, it bogs just a tad everytime i start it. what would be a good (better) pilot size? its just a dune ported stocker w/ t-5's, soon to be shearers i think.
  19. Well ur prolly gona have to decide if you want more low-mid, or mid-top power. Sounds like a play/dune port would be right around your liking and would work with your parts you have now.
  20. What's your budget? Also try doing a search on this if you can, alot of "what should I build" topics out there.
  21. Wanting the whole set. Lookin for somethin fairly cheap, at least under $300. Lmk if you have the individual stuff too and if it's a good deal i might take it.
  22. got any 34 or 35 carbs, filters, or intakes layin around? lmk
  23. carbs? intakes? filters?
  24. Never jetted anything other then a stocker carb, so lookin for a good starting place here. Gonna put some 34pj's on this weekend. Got a strong dune port, T-5's, coolhead w/ 20cc domes, k&n pods. Elevation is around 1200 ft., temps are around 70 right now. Just looking for somewhere to start since I've never even messed with these carbs.
