Helpful tools for the build

get bolt that fits then use a small pipe wrench to loosen -
cpi small bore in-frames, 27.5 pilot, 4th clip on needle, 330 mains. Im pondering if its possible that a float needle could be adjusted wrong and starve the engine of fuel at WOT, I did mess with it trying to get the fuel to stop pouring out the overflow, the other piston looks good so im thinking that the root of the problem lies in the float adjustment of the carb on the side of the blown piston, I appreciate the feedback, btw I did a leak down before riding and after I blew the piston and it held 6 psi for more than 10min. Thanks

64mm stock pistons, no porting chariot cool head with 21 cc domes, vf4 reeds, chariot intake manifold, k&n pods, +4 timing, running 93 octane. So I already put a hole in a piston but to avoid the same shit from happening again, do I need to change the jetting to richer when running +4 timing and 21cc domes or did I fuck up by running 93 gas. thanks

yep have done the research just needed to confirm on how to float the ground but will have to go with my gut on this one, next mission is figuring how to cut up those led lights to fit
-
how do i go about floating the ground, from what ive researched it says to cut a wire on the stator, do i connect that wire to the ground of the rectifier, if somebody could confirm the correct way it would be nice

ScEaMin BaNsheE 305 replied to Flyinrazrback's topic in General Banshee Discussion
i have cpi's with fenders, all i did was add little brackets to extend fenders out about half inch, you can also let them melt to fit -

i change my impeller, seal, and bearing every 5 years just to be on the safe side -
Problem is fuckers never try doing research first or try opening the clymers manual, i rarely post for help bcuz answers are already in the forums, ive learned how to fix the banshee (easiest machine to work on in my opinion) , if you cant fix ur shee on ur own then u should take it to stealership or buy a mountain bike. I love BHQ, thanks for keeping the forums running.
