where at on the oregon coast are you riding at? i used to ride at houser dunes. my friends banshee had t-5's and he never got into any trouble for them. but then again we never stopped for the cops out there anyways.

ummmm i may be wrong but... i don't think banshee's ever came with a REAR bolt pattern of 4/156. that bolt pattern is only on the front. correct me if i'm wrong.

Mullet, which res. says dot 4 only? my front res. says dot 3 or dot 4 and it is from a banshee. but like you i don't know what the difference is. maybe the viscosity or breakdown point? IDK. i would tend to agree with WESW that it ain't gonna hurt anything to run a different brake fluid.

for $125 you can't go wrong. you could part the thing out and make more than that. if you do part it though let me know, i will want the front shocks. if you are gonna keep it i would port it for more bottom end and run it as a trail bike.

also depends on your location and a little on time of year you are trying to sell it.

try roadway.com i haven't used them yet but i see their trucks everywhere. if you can get the jackass to crate it up and drop it off at one of their shipping docks and you pick it up at the dock nearest you it will save you some money. just an idea for you hope it helps. i wouldn't run that thing anywhere but on SMOOOOTH pavement. it has NO suspension. i would spend a little more and get her a real miniquad. just my opinion. that might be fun on the street but i think it would beat her up anywhere else.

yamaha didn't have a $250K loss. yamaha isn't the ones that chose not to sell the banshee in the US it was the effin tree hugging hipocrits. because 2 stroke emissions are "too harsh on the environment" so the pressured yamaha to discontinue selling the banshee and blaster in the US. this deal that this guy got was probably "extras" that yamaha let go to a "private individual" for a "discount" so they could still sell a few banshees in the US with out the tree huggers being able to go after yamaha. PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY.

thanks a ton. i'm going to go out and measure my blaster in a few minutes. just measured my blaster mounts... the bottoms would be either a direct bolt on or pretty freakin close. but the uppers on the blaster are smaller by an inch. thanks for measuring those for me.

hey mullet did you ever get a chance to measure your stock arms? i would like to see if i can do a similar set up to my blaster. if it would work that would make a great "dumping ground" for banshee owners wanting to get rid of their stock arms.

for the blaster run the fronts with 10 psi and the rears with 2 psi and you should be fine. that's what i did at coos bay before i bought my paddles for my blaster.

whoa!!! i just put banshee brakes on my blaster today and am having problems with building pressure. i just did a search to find any info i could and here someone else is having the same problem. i think my problem is air from the m.c. because i let it get too low. but now i know how to do it fast.

pro circuit pipes are a good all around pipe. a friend of mine had a banshee with toomeys and his girlfriends banshee had pro circuits. the toomeys had a lag in the bottom and then an upper hit to rip your arms off. the pro circuits pulled from just off idle to top end.

msrp new was $3299 i would say you are looking at $2300-$2500 for a blaster as you described. i have a 2000 that i can't get rid of for $1400, but it is pretty much stock with trimmed plastics.
