  1. thats good.... when i build the motor i will put the HD's in (hint hint 4mil) hehe but i dont think it will hold that long with nearly 85-90whp :ninja:
  2. i couldnt use the HD springs and i had a TQ wrench and i snaped 2 of them.... so i used the others that came with it and its pretty stiff so i went to the hardware store and got some longer ones and it worked out fine but i didnt tq down to spec i just snuged them evenly
  3. ive raced 660's 450R's Z400's(yoshi-k&n) 400ex's (killed them all) and i was beaten by a 06 ricky carmichal** edtion 250 (not by much lmao) by maybe a lenght from 2nd gear h2h to the top of 4th(ran out of room and we also hit eachother :shoothead: ) so i guess im pretty trick with it oh and also that was with the stock clutch which was sliping when i raced the 250 :yelrotflmao: oh and for traction.... yeah thats my biggest prob.... he says he might stall or flip on its tail so... im thinking 1st(sit on tank) 2nd(seat forward most pos.) then 3rd all the way back(not to much to mess up my shifts) and just play who has HP from there
  4. by how many lengths? kinda off topic (my thread anyway) did you have any trouble with the stock clutch spring bolts with the barnett clutch?
  5. I posted in here because we are draging (dirt/street), and my mods are listed below. He has never seen a twisted shee and i never heard a LTZ run. There will be YFZ 450's as well, the LTZ is bone stock with the baffle and airbox lid removed... anychance of a challenging race? :thumbsup: or will i be a joke, and dont even try? (and those who are tired of the blank vs. shee, plz... i did a search and came up dry on this specific bike) and I have never heard a YFZ 450 run neither..
  6. it basicaly 4 diff bikes. when you mess with the 4 settings there is stock curve 1st curve(low end) 2nd(mid range) 3rd(all out topend), and it will fire up every time and you can program it yourself with the software dyna sells. so you can plug it into your computer and make your own curve and its about 100 bucks but i dont have that.... dont need it... but the FS is kickass and someone has a machine with the dyna and a adjustable stator plate i think he said 4-6 advance on it with curve 3 so yeah you can benifit from it greatly either way. :beer:
  7. i got bad news...... i found a hole today..... (frame hit the bottom like nothing) and just spun spun spun....... 2nd gear 4lo to the floor.... it would move back and forth but it wouldnt move... (hole was about 4-5 foot deap remember these are fresh 37x12.50 superswamper IROK's with 4.56 gear and detroit locker in the rear and trutrac in the front..... LIM(less is more) and whiteboy4life.... um i kinda just tossed that in for some odd reason.... anyway the real name is Vic.... oh and bronco girl .... i got a 75 bronco....hehe 5.5"bullet proof lift from bronco graveyard 4.56 gears, lockers, 37" IROK's, stock 302, with manny 3spd (hurst floor converted) and a warn 12K winch (i know overkill...)
  9. well i went by what the clymers manual said and lined the points up right when it ingauges and adjusted the slack accordingly but its done finshed..... i fried it (pissed) went through all the gears wide open.... nothing but revs.... so its done.. just hope i didnt hurt the basket, and other main parts ::

There are big plans for this bike when she goes... so i would like to know who makes a nice lockup .... 45hp thats not gonna need a lockup... i adjusted the clutch and looked a the fibers and it looks fine, i think my springs are weak or something..... i will shift from 4th to 5th (off throttle) then get on it fully with the clutch out and the motor will rev then grab as if i were feathering it and i saw clutch dust from it on the bottom of the cover and case so it is sliping somewhat

  13. good news my dad is gonna try the F.A.S.T clutch since so many people have luck with them and dont need a lockup, oh and i got strong forearms so i can get used to it, the thumb throttle was a bitch for a week or so, but now i can ride on 3 tanks easy.
  14. does it somewhat depend how i shift at all? because i use the clutch shifting but let off the throttle while. i like the 60 buck setup but i want something easy on the hands. is it somewhat close to a harley stiffness?

  17. woah not that much ...... your crazy i know a limit and it is his and its under his name i just ride/fix it samething with our project early bronco i was going to see what was the best of the best with the "limitless" quote. dont hate me because im the only child..... atleast i do all my own work and ask pointers from pops :thumbsup:

  20. ordered a TORS kit and got a $750 list instead but the dude got the swinger and i got everything else...... not to give a bad name everyone makes mistakes but that was not cool..... too much money.....
  21. +6 carrier brakelines and 7.5ft of chain? everything but the swinger which was on the sheet
  22. um cant do FAST anymore..... had shippin prob's and my dad doesnt want to order from there anymore.... and the UPS dorks piss me off. i know you cant beat the pricing but i dont want to get another chance of getting someone else's parts and i knew they were prob pissed also...

  24. Well my stocker cant take it anymore so any ideas on oil and clutch? the cost is limitless but not a lock up and it can be a lil hard to pull in but not insane. My pops was talking about a kevlar clutch with a titaium basket and HD springs...... any idea on who makes some like that for banshees? anyway, yes i did a search and nothing really points out and im also going to try adjusting it so it will last until X-mas thanks ppls :beer:
  25. I ride everything there is in front of me. Streets, dirt, fields, sand, pick up bitches, MX, drag race, 300-500ft dashes, whoopin 4pokes, standing the front end in 3rd wide open (thanks to the new holeshot XCT's ) so.... yep that about sums it up :beer:
