Can anyone provide me name(s) of somebody who can oval bore my stock carbs? If my slides measure 27.5mm can I go with a 27mm x 29mm oval bore and still be able to idle? I,m looking to go with a play/all around port job soon.So I still want a decent idle. Also what does a divider plate do? Does it basically turn a round slide into a flat slide,(functionally only) getting rid of some turbulence?

Can you see the humor of someone thinking that they found something new,novel, and even provocative. These arguments are all old and they have been around for hundreds of years. Even when it comes to arguments that you think could not have happened unless there were new scientific discoveries. The age of the earth was discussed thousands of years ago. Even Augustine (354-430 a great christian mind) thought that Genesis 1 should not be taken literally. Many Christians believe God formed His planned relationship with man through evolution. This does not even come close to negating the main theme of the bible (which I'm willing to bet most unbelievers could not give a good guess because of ignorance on the subject) For arguments sake lets say you're right, there is no God and take that idea to it's logical conclusion. You are just dust, thats all you've ever been, thats all you ever will be. Why does dust care so much about being right trying with such passion to convince others of their way of thinking? (at least we have a excuse) to understand how fast time goes by, just look back, it flies. Soon to be more behind you than in front of you. And soon to be dead. What makes you think you have ANY meaning at all. Be a good atheist and practice what you say you believe and not what you do. :shrug: The bible says in the last days there will be a great falling away (christians leaving). It's a simple solution, but it takes self control and discipline. What better place to practice and add to your own strength and character.It's common practice today to antagonize with personal attacks (much easier) vs. answering with substance.Profanity is a big attempt by a small brain to answer loudly to keep you off balance that can leave the attacker in control.I have seen it happen many times mostly by unmerited angry men with a heightened sense of hyper machismo.Better is it to expose others (chosen) deficiencies by your self control and positive character. life's a mystery!

This past weekend I installed a used pro design cool head with new o-ring gaskets. I think I did everything proper but during warm ups & retorquing I developed a small leak evident at front left bolt.(above exhaust) My question is when installing longer head bolts I noticed the two longer bolts than the rest(above exhaust) did not bottom out untill threads disappeared(into cylinders without heads on).The other 8 bolts left the same 2 threads exposed just the same as all the stock head bolts.I was wondering if I should turn out front 2 bolt so 2 threads are exposed so o-rings can squish into threads the o-rings are still in good shape except around the bolts they're smashed and have to be replaced I also noticed o-rings around domes were different color (high temp?) can I use any old o-ring of right size? Any thoughts would be appeciated!

I'm pretty excited about Can Am being on the stage again and would love to own a sport quad made in north america. What is being compared here is oranges to cinder blocks. My muscle car buddies talk about displacement, displacement, displacement(even if they are turbo charged).So a 800cc is almost twice the displacement as a 450 but not twice as heavy. It's more than twice the size as our beloved banshee. What if you double the 800 or double the etc.... it becomes a different animal I'm looking forward to air conditioners!
