  1. Im putting new needles and seats in my carbs(they were leaking) on the stock carbs the manual says to remove the pin, but it wont come out. Is the only way to get them out to bend the height tab way out of the way?
  2. If you cant fix the cap i think rocky mountain sells tusk ones for like 30 bucks and you can get it in different colors :thumbsup:
  3. I run 6 hd in mine with a easy pull clutch lever and it pretty close to how hard the stock springs pulled.

  6. Dispite the argument, This post helped me in my decision like you cant believe. Im going to build the 4mill with a port job. 2 car wide thails arent the only trails i run. But i definatly am going to buy another Ban with a cht/cub kit. Good points made on both sides. To me it sounds like for the cost ill be happier with a bike set up both ways more than triying to do both with one. my bros 250-500 is trailable but its a monster and can get pretty hairy. I just want the title back. And Daj has always been one of the first guys on this site to answer my Q's and has helped me out tremendessly. THANX!
  7. Not sure what your trying to ask with the high low question. What Daj means is being the time of year it is you probably bought the bike when it was warm out and know its cold. cold air is more dence(more oxygen) so your fuel mixture is leaned out. More O2 than fuel to burn. Add more fuel richen up your jetts. I think thats what you were trying to ask. If not just ignore this.
  8. Really? Everyone i know owns a ps2 and at 600 a pop for the ps3 i heard, i imagine they will recover pretty fast if its true.
  9. Have AC pro pregs on my raptor. Discovered they make them for the banshee, but they powder coat the aluminum black with stainless steal changeable foot pegs and the base of the heal guards are webbing instead of aluminum. They were 3 bills but i couldnt help it. dont care what the old lady says about the credit card.
  10. Do you have the regular stock gas cap with the hose or a one way breather? if stock with hose, pull the hose out and blow through it to make sure its not pluged or getting pinched off.

  12. owe yeah dont ride in winter( to much snow) so 75 is about an average temp.
  13. Is it a miss like its leaning out(running out of gas) What kind of carbs, air filter set up, stock heads? Did you check the screens in the gas tank? does it do it through all the gears or just a few?
  14. New trinitys and coolheads 21cc (wanted to noss but couldnt find any in stock) on their way. Elvation 1230' Rest of mods listed below. Its a brand new top end. Thinking of starting at 300 mains? Vitos needles for the stock carbs, on third clip now.

  16. Ive heard from some race buddies its fine, it just takes longer to break in on sinth. 2 or 4 strokes. Dont know how much truths to it.

  18. I know what they are, i just never rode one. Ive ridden built 4 wheelers my whole life race 230 suz since 4th grade to 500 flat trke quadzillas (brother has a 250r with a cr500 motor in it) You know how it is brotherly competition, whos fastes. I have a family so i want to keep my ban trailable. When i get enough money im going to get another ban and its getting either a cub or a cheeta. Hate to get beat! ::

  21. I have vitos stock after market needles. There red and quite a bit longer than the mikuni needles.
  22. What about a cheeta with the power valve? Are they pretty much the same in the power dilivery or are they smother?
  23. After reading another topic there will be no power valve, but probably a +4 400 or more engine.
  24. thanxs dajogejr, youve saved me a shit load of money! I run in the michigan UP on 2 car wide logging roads too. I was thinking about a cheeta but after i seen what you had to say, not anymore. Do you think a stroker would maybe be the way to go?
  25. Ive been looking at trinitys and t5's. I ride trails almost to mx once in a while, and logging rodes were you run WOT for long periods of time. The motor is stock porting for now. Even thinking maybe a stroker or a power valve in the future. The trinitys claim to be able a stock to 535cc motor. wondering were there power is? More bottem to mid or mid to top? There is a ton of info for the t5s on this site, but not much on the trinitys. Anyone have any info or comments on the trinitys it would be most appreciated!
