I heard some bad things about RS so i bought a 200 w ricks stator instead. Got it and put it on the bike, wouldnt run worth a shit. Called ricks and rick talked to me personally. Just had to swap two wires and it ran like a champ. I was pissed at first but i sure couldnt complain about the customer service. When the owner him self takes time to talk to you, it kinda tells you something about his products.

Yeah a small can of tap majic from the hardware store will save some torn threads. :biggrin:

Do what i did and marry a chick that works at a place that deals in amsoil. Then you can get it at factory cost. And you can actually say i really screwed my oil supplier! :beer:

I think it was somr where around 20 mm off the side of the carb. once you grind the boss flat your pretty close. I ground mine alittle further though to make more room for the jam nut. After you tap the boss run the screw with the jam nut on in. You can see the slide start to lift up. Then you will know for sure you have enough room. I got my carbs put back on the bike before i realisied i didnt grind them down far enough and had to take every thing apart again. :shoothead:

I have never seen a tor elim kit that didnt come with idle screws and a drill bit with tap. I got my kit from vitos. Came with all the directions, including exactly how many mm off the side of the carb the boss had to ground to.

The reeds are almost brand new. The slides seem to be fine and in sinqe, but ill give the throttle cable a once over again. I just put the tors elimination on this winter, maybe it just new and has to break in.

Sorry i have a dyna FS ignition set on the third setting, which advances 4 degrees on the curve, Not sure if it does at idle. Wonder if it might be why?

Starts great idles great runs great. Stock carbs 27.5 pilots 1and half turns out. Vitos stock needles (5 notches) on 4th clip, 300 mains 1200ft. starts good with choke like normal. 65 degrees out. idles normal during warm up, but after running around it idles high. If i let it idle for a while it come back down to normal. Just put the 21cc domes on and did comp test (160psi) so im running half 110-93 oct at 36:1. wondering why it does this?

Installing a front chain slider from mod quad. Have it installed on the swing arm. Does the end towards the rear sprocket with the metal stud sticking out just ride on the top of the swing arm?

Choped out the thin metal gus on frame-welded in a tapered frame clip from a stock car-shaved a rubber boxs mount from a pickup-and got cascade hangers. solid as can be but tons of flex for no stress on anything. worth the time and effort. :thumbsup:

Thats obviously a given, for some reason i thought maybe the expansion chambers stood inside the frame like the stock ones. After seening the pictures (thanx) i see how the are installed and the hanger in the pictures are offset forward like mine. after getting the whole exhuast together and rolling the around i got the hangers to work and they fit very well, except the right mid pipe touches the frame alittle. Thanxs again for taking the time to post pictures.

Started hooking up new pipes wed, had a meeting down state thur but want to finish hooking up. Wed i put the expanshen chambers on but the hangers arnt even close to the mounts. i went into the frame to hook to engine then circled up and out side of the frame. But looking at rnbrades signature it lookes like his pipes stay outside the frame all the way untill it hooks to the engine. Does anyone know how there routed or even some pics i would really appreciate it. I have limited time to work on my machines and the trinity install instuctions are very vag.

its .004 thou for ever inch of bore. just put in 64.75 prolights. the bore is a hair over two and a half inches. so i set them at .010.

Metal gas cans is the way to go. especially with the price of gas :thumbsup:

Sometimes i think my early 20's were the best time in my life. I just took the women your talking about for the ride until i got sick of them or they got sick of me. I just focused on my carrier and the shit i really liked to do (FOURWHEELERS). I broke up with a ride that i was seeing one night and met my wife the very next night. Never thought i would find someone i have so much incommon with. She loves to fourwheel-and hunt. Now i have a 5 year old son and a step daughter that both love to fourwheel too (the boy cant get enough). Point is no one knows when and were life is gonna give that huge turn of events. If you would of told me this is were i was going to be in my 30's when i was 20, i would of told you your f---king crazy! I see both sides, Originally live just north of millwakee wi, moved up to wi-up boarder back when i was in like 13. IT was unbelievable, you could ride a atv-snowmobile down any rode in town -the main drag. But through the years dumb fucks had to be ripping down the roads at 2 in the morning full throttle. The out of towners were the worst (thought they owned the place). Now there is a few designated roads to get to gas stations. Now the same dumb asses who got the laws changed are the same m-f's whining about them. :shoothead: But on the other hand, after high school i moved back down state wi to get an apprenticeship. The street me and my bro lived on were pretty cool. there were two brother that lived next door that both raced quads. WE would take them for test burns Once IN AWHILE. As far as oils there seems to be a few favs on here- castrol-amsoil-klotz-belray. I run amsoil dominator but i can get it at whole sale through the shop my wifes a mech at. But dont listen to me cause last time i took a shower i think i had an anus?

Pretty sure the instructions give an exact mm the boss should be filled flat to off the side of the carb. like 20mm not for certain.
