  1. I have a dyna fs and it is set on the stock setting(which gives a little more low end). I see people on this site seem to have either the dyna or adj time plate but not both. My cyliders are 30 over, cool heads with 21cc dome with stock porting for now. Soon to be ordering pipes (have Qs for that one too). My Q is would it pay for me to get a timing plate since i have the dyna or does the dyna advance the spark? dont want to sound stupid but i know just enough about the elictrical to be dangerous.
  2. Is 150 the cut off for pump gas?
  3. They definatly pull harder and ad a huge difference on the top end (definatly much faster becuase with out them my buddys 700 raptor is a little faster wide open and with them i walk right by him, so they do work!) and on the bottom to mid range you can feel the pull night and day. Going to order stock needles cuz they made a believer out of me no matter what anyone says. To each there own. Oh and yes the Tors is disconnected.
  4. 01, stock carbs with vitos custom needles, stock air box with k&n and power lid stock pipes stock engine. Here is the deal. I bent one of the stock needles while jetting, so i ordered vito needles for stock carbs and at the same time i ordered the scary fast pwr nows. now the thing idles fine, is even fine through quarter throttle but when at eighth to quart throttle and going up a hill it starts bogging bad. I went up 2 and down 2 on pilots and it keeps doing the same thing. took out the SFPNs and went to stock pilot and runs fine. I dont have stock needles to see if they would work with the SFPNs. wondering anyone thinks vitos needles would have anything to do with it?
  5. 01 Putting new top end in, 30 thow over. ordering toomy t5, no porting, v3 reeds, stock air box with k&n filter and power lid, wiseco pro lites, dyna fs ignition, 200 watt stator. I want to order cool heads for it. Im at 2000ft or a little under. I want to run 93 pump gas. wondering if a 19cc will be to much or what can i get away with?
  6. Ill try it on the 3rd first. The vito needles have 5 grooves like the stock ones so ill start in the middle and go from there. I thought i was pretty rich but you guys confirmed it. Ive built 4strokes before but this is the first 2 stroke ive done. Ive done alot of research on pipes and i think im going with the Starting line products pipes. I know they build some awsome shit for snowmobiles. Thanks again for taking the time to reply. Regardless of what some people say its good to get other opinions.
  7. I used to live in lower Wi. Now i live on the Wi. UP MI border. There is a difference in elevetion but usually the rule of thumb is to jet a little richer even though your gaining elevation, the air is usually 10 to 20 degrees colder(meaning the air is more dense, hense more o2 in it) Got this from friends that are engine builders and just thought i would share it.
  8. Yes, the vito needles are longer and more tapered than the stock ones. If i drop the pilot and the main should i go to the second clip on the needle? Ill probably try it both ways 2nd and 3rd but thanks alot for the reply.
  9. Here is the deal. I have a pretty much stock motor, last year i put a in the box clamp on K&N with a K&N power lid, rejetted-ran great. I just put V-force3 reeds, scary fast power nows, and a dyna FS ignition-running the stock curve. When i was rejetting i bent a stock needle so i put Vitos needles for the stock carbs in. For now the pipes are stock. Im at 1200' running 27.5 pilot at 1.5 turns out a 300 main jet on the 3rd clip 80 degrees out. It starts first kick, idles good, good to quarter throttle then stumbles bad from quarter to half or alittle more, then cacthes up and goes like hell. ive tride the 2nd and the 4th clip and its the best on the 3rd. The plugs that were in there were pretty bad so i had to put in a brand new set, so its hard to tell the color till they burn in. Just wondering if someone could give me some info. Am i to big or to small on the pilot or the main jet? Thanx.
  10. I know its not a banshee, but if anyone knows of a heavy duty cam chain made for the 660 raptor i would apreciate it if you could let me know who makes it.
  11. sorry, this should have been in the exhuast forum.
  12. Im wondering if anyone can give me some input on SLP`s pipes for the banshee. They claim to have an average 10 h.p. midrange increase over the next best competitors pipe. I do alot of trail riding, but also alot of logging road riding, where your really in the mid to top sreaming.
