the 250 is p&p'd (and pipe) and the 125 is P&P'd and also is 20 over. (with pipe) the 400 has pipes and thats about it. i have a problem with shifting because i can't lift my foot, i have to do my whole get to shift (disease when i was 2 hit mainly my legs) that is my next change i have to make. figuring out a heel shift for up and toe for down. but that is once the shee is running correctly.

i have to look at my bike again (its been about 6 months since it went into storage) but i have T3's and the K&N filter thing. but its partly wronging rough so i need to get that fixed. each of my brothers have bikes to (yz125, and a yz250) i wanna be able to smoke all of them any time i want.

for what i had read that all the bigger bore pistons would increase compression, thats why i ask. so it will put it back to stock compression... so what is the best way to get up the compression, the cool head with new domes? its running alittle rough, so i was going to do the top end rebuild thinking its something with bad compression (rings bad or bad gaskets) im also trying to be able to beat my dad on his yz400 (4 stroke bike) in silver lake sand dunes.

i was guessing it would be a few weeks. same as getting a head port and polished. i was going to pull it out, get a few cans of engine degreaser and brake cleaner and make a day of it, drain the oil and that stuff. just throw it all in a tot and bring it over to them. dajoge, you seem to know your stuff, i was thinkin i would do 20 over so i could still run premium (hard to find race gas around here) and heard that 40 over needs race gas, then i found 30 and thought that would be the best. any insight on that?

he has a PM. can someone give me a rough estimation on the price of a bore/hone? and then also a rebuild (top end and full rebuild) i wanna know about what its gunna cost so i can have all the money ready and can just go "I WANT THAT" useally makes the shop want to work on it more.

last time i had my shee apart, i was missing a few teeth on some of the gears. can you assemble a full gear set and price shipped to 49424 (holland, mi)
-
alrighty, i was pointed to dan (got his number) and was planning to call him. do they also re-assemble them, i know i can do it but would rather leave it to a pro and have it done right, nothing worse then bringing it to silver lake for a week and breaking it the first day (how my clutch burnt up)

HAHA thats the exact one i was lookin at to make the first post. well, i never have done anything to it and i know the old owner, they had bad rings and honed it, i have all the records. i was gunna pull my jugs off and get some dial calipers and measure them before hand. i was told that A&S machine was a great place to take it, its by lansing for what i was told. im just outside grand rapids, so its not that far of a drive and i like to drive so no big deal.

Im looking to rebuild my shee. im gunna do 30 over. tryin to figure out exactly what all i need, piston kits from wiseco (comes with rings and wrist pins) then i was going to get the complete gasket kit, and wrist pin bearings. i think that is all i need. can someone que me in on what else i need? thanks, raley

im interested in the radiator and the tank cover parts. and the carbs... i wish i could afford these right now, but willing to get them in a week or so, if you still have them, don't seem to be very good bids on ebay. -
so, sunday i went trail riding, IT SUCKED the trail i was on was tight for my dads yz450 (bike) so my shee was TIGHT AS NO OTHER!!! i got into the powerband ONCE in first gear. any good michigan trails that are WIDE (snowmobile trails or something)

curious for me... i ran the shee all summer and it was fine, now that its getting colder (snowed last night) and the dunes are still open, should i jump a size or just adjust the screw... its in the low 40s in the day... so im thinkin i should change them but wanna make sure. where can i get new jets for cheap (VERY tight college student budget) -
ride like normal... i'll ride like the rest of you, not like myself. as for lining it up right, thats where i went wrong last time and needed to get a new one WHOOPS!!! don't try and work on something without having a manual, i just went, W/E, i'll make it work.
-
umm... why don't you go to harbor freight and get a plastic welder. then cut the recesed area out and re-weld it in so its smooth. then you have to paint them/dye them. maybe im just insane

I just ordered my clutch, and im gunna be installing it tomorrow when i get out of work, is there a break in on these or do i just go to town and beat the piss out of it? Im gunna get outta work and start soaking it in oil, then rip apart the old stuff, and then go and install the new clutch. any advice on adjustment or install? (to make it easier?)

wouldn't though brake rotors just tear up a brake pad? -
umm... if you want real crazy power just put that rotary into a rail... or the jixer engine in there... in a XTC rail...

i just used a gasket scraper and cleaned them up like i would on the head of a car... can i pull off the head with it still in the bike or is that really hard?
