    You have to do quite a bit of work to make a ltr trail ready as well. They come with 18 tires and are wide as hell and we all know how much suspension can cost. Why is the YFZ not on your list?

    Not all 450s get awesome hourage. My 450 runs though a tank in real close to the same amount of time my banshee does. It is a 2.5 gallon tank not a 3.5 but its still not like the old suzuki 230 that can go like a week in the dunes and never have to be filled

    By factory sound they mean factory race bike sound, They do sound very good though one of the guys I ride wiht has them, they are fairly quiet compared to a lot of the other pipes I have heard. They make a lot of low end power compared to my LRDs.

    If you buy race gas in quantity you can usually get it for about a 1.50 more than premium. gas prices have gone up but race gas has stayed pretty much the same. Its almost like race gas is getting cheaper

    Be careful in florence they have been cracking down there on the loud four strokes hard. But if you stay out of their way they should leave you alone. Just repack them like was said before and you should be ok, When are you coming through

    too much is just enuf. I always do that though. Im just gonna port it that will be plenty of power. 2 weeks later your buying a cub motor or a stroker crank. ITs never enuf :baseball_bat:

    Most of the camp grounds are 10 pm but the dunes are 12. Ill be there look for the blue 06 with LRD pipes. and a 04 YFZ with blue maiers, trail techs lights, and a M4 pipe. ill be at discovery piont in one of the cabins

    how much compression do you have with the milled head?

    Try a product called never dull. Ive used it on my stainless head pipe on my 450 but never chrome. But it worked great on the stianless

    My old roommate had the 296 procicuits the sound is good on them and they are not loud at all.

    If I was putting a bigger carb on a warrior i would use a 39 off a 450 yamaha, 2 stroke carbs tend to act funny on 4 strokes (because of the accelerator pump) just my 2 cents btw if he needs a cam or a high compression piston i have an alba set up for sale

    Like everyone is saying blueing is normal but if one pipe is blueing morethan the other you may want to lean out the other cylinder one jet size or richen that side one jet
